Top 5 Tips For Tour de Chocolate Town

The 5th Annual Tour de Chocolate Town takes place on Sunday, September 13! We want to help you get ready and be prepared with these top tips.

1. Pick the course that’s right for you – not your riding partners.

The tour has four different course lengths enabling you to pick the best distance for your riding experience and style:

+ 17.5 mile

+ 35 mile

+ 65 mile

+ 100 mile century ride.

2. Register before the day of the tour.

This tactic allows you to get yourself mentally prepared and not be worried about registration.

3. Become familiar with the route.

4. Safety first!

Make sure you adhere to the rules of the road and bring everything you need from a water bottle to a helmet.

5. Know the schedule.

Race check-in is 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. There is a rolling start from 7:00 a.m. to 8:30 a.m..(Those participating in the 65 or 100 mile routes should arrive no later than 7:30 a.m.)
