Recipes from Hershey Lodge: Chocolate Chip Cookies

Chocolate Chip Cookies
A guest favorite from Cocoa Beanery and room service, grab the family and bake up a batch of chocolate chip cookies together!
Ingredients
2 sticks unsalted butter, softened
3/4 c. light brown sugar
3/4 c. granulated sugar
2 eggs
1 1/2 T. vanilla extract
2 1/2 c. flour
1/2 t. salt
1 t. baking soda
1 bag Hershey's Special Dark chocolate chips
Directions
Preheat oven to 375 degrees
Combine flour, salt, and baking soda in a mixing bowl. Sift or stir well to combine. Set aside.
In another mixing bowl, with a hand mixer, cream butter and both sugars for 2-3 minutes until creamy and fluffy.
Add eggs, one at a time, and mix until combined.
Add vanilla and mix well.
Add flour, salt, and baking soda and blend well.
Stir in chocolate chips to combine.
Scoop cookie dough into 1-1 1/3 oz. balls and place on cookie sheets
Bake at 375 degrees until just beginning to brown on the top, roughly 9-15 minutes depending on the size of the cookie and your home oven.
