Rainy Day Fun in Hershey, PA

There’s no need to let the threat of rain in the forecast keep you from having a great day at Hersheypark. With a wide variety of attractions for all ages, your day in Hershey will be sweet regardless of the weather!

Hersheypark is open rain or shine! However, your safety is our main concern, which is why we may need to temporarily close some rides. During rain and storms, there are indoor or covered activities and attractions to experience while you wait for the weather to clear. Check out all these fun rainy-day activities in the Park!

What to ride:

Stay up to date on closed rides and wait times with the Hersheypark app! Set up alerts to be notified when rides are back open.

Whether you want to chill out on the Carrousel and Fender Bender, or speed around corners on the Whip, try giving these rides a spin!

The competition heats up on Reese’s Xtreme Cup Challenge as you ride through competition zones and show off your target practice skills!

Experience the thrills and laughs that Hersheypark has to offer on our indoor, spinning, glow-coaster, Laff Trakk!

What to play:

You’ll find video games, crane machines, skeeball, and so much more in our two indoor arcades!

Head to the Overlook Arcade in Kissing Tower Hill! You’ll find the largest selection of games in the whole park with easy access to ZooAmerica and the Overlook food court.

On the other side of the park, there’s a lot to do in the Play Dome Arcade. Then hop on the Monorail or catch a show at the Chevrolet Music Box Theatre!

Save more than 30% with the purchase of a Games Value Pack, valid at 13 game locations. Available at Ticketing Services, Hospitality Services, or any Guest Services location throughout the park.

When the weather won’t quit:

In the event the inclement weather conditions cause our major rides and attractions to close for a continuous 60 minutes, a Return Visit Voucher will be issued for a return visit for the same current operating season. Please present your ticket stub or receipt of purchase to the Guest Services building located outside of the main entrance of Hersheypark to receive your Return Visit Voucher. Hersheypark makes every effort to reopen the rides and attractions as quickly and safely as possible after the inclement weather conditions cease.
