Preschool Perfect Age for Hersheypark
As someone who grew up with Season Passes to Hersheypark, I love bringing my recently turned 5 year old and 2 year old to Hersheypark. There is nothing quite as sweet as seeing your kids experience the joy of hugging a chocolate bar, or the thrill of riding their very first coaster! Feeling the nostalgia of your own first ride mixed with the pride of seeing your children conquer new challenges is exactly how Hersheypark Happy gets passed on through generations. As school starts again, I am reminded of a few reasons why Hersheypark is ideal for kids under 5 (plus their big brothers and sisters of course!)
When To Visit
Get the best value with a season pass, which is less than the price of 3 visits! This allows you to take shorter, more frequent visits with your little ones (before or after nap time!), all while getting free parking and discounts on food and merchandise throughout the park! The best part - your season pass includes a full year of sweet memories, with each season containing something new and fun!
Soak in the summer sun! Visit the Park in full swing, and enjoy the Boardwalk at Hersheypark, and daily entertainment.
Hersheypark In The Dark
Follow the Trick-or-Treat Trail through Hersheypark's Trick or Treat Trail, ZooAmerica's Creatures Of The Night, and Hershey's Chocolate World for a sweet time!
Meet Santa's reindeer, decorate cookies, and take a ride on the Christmas-themed Cocoa Cruiser! Enjoy driving through Sweet Lights in your own car - a festive light display wrapping on for more than 2 miles!
Springtime In The Park
Welcome back the warm weather with select weekends of sweet fun - it's a perfect time to enjoy the park!
Where To Go
Your Hersheypark ticket or season pass includes admission to the Park, The Boardwalk at Hersheypark, and ZooAmerica. And right outside of Hersheypark's main gate, you'll find Hershey's Chocolate World.
With so many fun things all in one place, you're sure to keep your children busy all day long!
What To Do
Hersheypark is designed for family fun, which means that there are a variety of rides in every area of the park so no one has to split up during a day together!
Here’s a list of things to do just for you if…
…you’re a Hershey’s Kiss! (36” – 42”)
Experience more than 40 rides and cruise on your first roller coaster, Cocoa Cruiser! Splash and swim at 6 attractions at The Boardwalk at Hersheypark.
…you’re a Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup! (42” – 48”)
Enjoy the winning combination of more than 50 rides and attractions plus more than 12 water rides!
What To See
While in the park, be sure to give a high five or warm hug to the sweetest characters around. You can find the Hershey's Characters near the Carousel and Hershey Triple Tower!
Dance and sing with the characters and their friends at one of Hersheypark's shows! There are so many to choose from - check out locations and showtimes in the Hersheypark app!
Where To Stay
The Official Resorts of Hersheypark provide the sweetest accommodations for you and your family's visit to Hersheypark! Free shuttle service to and from the Park is provided, as well as Sweet Start, an exclusive one hour early access to specific rides and attractions!
The Official Resorts offer lots of amenities, including recreation, activities, and water complexes!
Kiddie Swap Program
If you and your partner would like to ride height-restricted rides but your child is not tall enough to ride, let the attendant know that you would like to take advantage of the Kiddie Swap program. One parent may ride while the other stays with the child. At the conclusion of the initial ride, the parents may "swap" places. Similarly, if one parent has two children who meet the height restriction but must be accompanied by a responsible rider or who wish not to ride alone, the parent may ride with one child while the other child waits in an appropriate area of the ride. At the conclusion of the initial ride, the parent may remain on the ride while the children "swap" places.
Strollers are available inside the entrance of Hersheypark on a first-come-first-serve basis. Rental prices: Single - $12; Double - $17.
Need some quiet time or need to nurse a younger child? Quiet locations are available in First Aid, located in Pioneer Frontier Family Health & Services, and the Guest Services location in Kissing Tower Hill.
With a Season Pass, you can have access to parts of the Park one hour early! This means that you and your children can take full advantage of some of their favorite rides before it opens to the public.
Fast Track Passes
With a Fast Track Pass, you can skip the lines on select attractions to maximize your Hersheypark experience. Fast Track Passes are available at Hospitality Services inside the main entrance, limited quantities available. Program and pricing subject to change without notice. Rides subject to change without notice and weather permitting. Park admission not included.
