One Sweet Minute: Things to do in Hershey, PA in July 2019

Spend July 4th at Hersheypark

  • Hersheypark amusement park is open daily in July, including July 4th. The one-price admission includes three sweet experiences for the whole family. Every ticket is packed with more than 70 rides and attractions, including 14 mild to wild coasters; a water park with more than one million gallons of water; and a walk-through Zoo with more than 200 North American animals.
  • Guests can fuel up for an evening of thrills at the Star Spangled Picnic, an all-you-care-to-eat picnic, from 5:30-8:30 p.m. in Pioneer Frontier Catering. The cost is $15.50 for ages 9+ and $10.50 for ages 3-8 when purchasing tickets online through July 3. Children 2 and younger are free. Guests can also buy tickets when they arrive at Hersheypark. The day-of cost is $18.00 for ages 9+ and $12.50 for ages 3-8.
  • Our annual 4th of July fireworks celebration will start at 10:15 p.m. on July 4. We recommend watching the fireworks from the Midway America area of the Park. Talk about a sweet way to end a day of endless happy at Hersheypark!

See A Summer Show

July brings a wide variety of concerts and shows to Hershey from rock and hip hop to country. There's a show for everyone in the family!

  • Coming to the Hersheypark Stadium this month will be Blink-182 and Lil Wayne on July 5, followed the next night by New Kids On The Block with special guests Salt-N-Peppa, Tiffany, Debbie Gibson, and Naughty By Nature on July 6, Thomas Rhett on July 20, and finishing with Breaking Benjamin on July 27.
  • Then you can get up and on your feet with Kidz Bop World Tour at Giant Center on July 26!



  • Every Thursday from 2:30-9 p.m. (except for July 4), enjoy live music, lawn games, a specialty grill menu and craft beer at Cocoa Beanery on Research Boulevard.
  • Stop by between 2:30 and 6:30 p.m. and enjoy an afternoon overflowing with farm fresh goods and live music at the Farmers Market in Hershey. Then, enjoy an evening of free live music provided by local and regional musicians. Don't forget your blankets and lawn chairs!

Summertime Relaxation At MeltSpa By Hershey And The Spa At The Hotel Hershey



  • Unwind from the work week with live rhythm, blues and incredible views on The Hotel Hershey's veranda on the 4th, 12th and 19th this month from 7-10 p.m. Relax by the fire pit and enjoy small plates and signature cocktails from a special menu while taking in the view of The Sweetest Place On Earth. Event is weather permitting.
