One of Summer’s Best Assets - The Farmers Market in Hershey

Do you enjoy fresh produce, live music, and local pastas and bakery items? Get it all (and more!) at the Farmers Market in Hershey & Summer Concert Series, opening May 26, 2016! Join us for the opening day festivities – from 2:30 – 8:00 p.m. – to see a concert performance by The Jellybricks and participate in the Happy & Healthy Hershey 5K, a DeAngelis Martial Arts demonstration, and a pedal assist demonstration by In Gear Cycling and Fitness.

The Market will be open Thursday afternoons from May 26—October 27, 2016, and free concerts will be offered each Thursday from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.

The mission of the Farmers Market in Hershey & Summer Concert Series is to increase community accessibility to healthy, locally grown foods; to support local farmers engaged in sustainable practices by creating a sustainable venue for the sale of their goods; to establish opportunities for community wellness partnerships; to build a community space for interaction among employees and students of the Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center and Penn State College of Medicine as well as people from surrounding neighborhoods and towns; and to pay homage to the agricultural heritage of the land surrounding the hospital complex.
