New Foods for Summer 2019 at Hersheypark

Foodies rejoice! Hersheypark amusement park just unveiled new food and beverage offerings at 12 locations throughout the Park for summer 2019. Check out the list below starting with dessert because, let's face it, dessert is the sweetest meal of the day! 

King Size Shakes at Simply Chocolate

No visit to Hersheypark is complete without indulging in some sweet treats. Lucky for park-goers, Hersheypark is home to the award-winning King Size Shake - and there are three new flavors inspired by the all-new interactive gaming ride, Reese's Cupfusion, for guests to sip on this summer. Perfect for families to share, the King Size Shakes are available at Simply Chocolate in the Founder's Way area of Hersheypark.

Chocolate and peanut butter lovers must try the Cupfusion King Size Shake, a chocolate peanut butter shake topped with a peanut butter tart and chocolate covered pretzels. Mint fans will want to opt for the Mint the Merciless King Size Shake, a mint chocolate shake topped with a mint chocolate cake roll (yum!) and chocolate covered pretzels. Then there is the Slither and Squirm King Size Shake, which is perfect for chocoholics. It is a chocolate shake topped with a chocolate cupcake and chocolate covered pretzels. A gummy surprise is also included! 

Fundae at Founder's Way Funnel Cake

What do you get when you combine a funnel cake and a sundae? A fundae from Founder's Way Funnel Cake inside Hersheypark, of course. The new fundae features a funnel cake bowl as the base. It is filled with chocolate peanut butter ice cream and topped with peanut butter syrup, whipped cream and Reese's candies - a nod to Reese's Cupfusion. We promise it is as delicious as it sounds!

Dipped Treats at Turkey Hill Creamery

I dip, you dip, we all dip this summer at Turkey Hill Creamery inside Hersheypark! The location added new dipped treats to its sweet summer menu, two of which are inspired by new Reese's Cupfusion characters introduced in 2019. The Commander Cup Dipped Dessert is an edible peanut butter cookie dough dipped in chocolate and covered in yellow and orange sprinkles. The Mint the Merciless Dipped Dessert is an edible brownie batter dough dipped in chocolate and covered in crushed Hershey’s Mint Cookie Crunch Bars. There is also a HERSHEY'S cheesecake dipped in chocolate and covered in crushed Oreos, topped with a cookies-n-crème piece.

Sundaes and Waffle Bowls at Rita's

Rita's Italian Ice is now serving up sundaes in The Boardwalk area of the Park. Guests can also cool down with custard in new waffle bowls. 

Smoked Turkey Sandwich from Country Grill

If guests have worked up an appetite after a morning of riding Fahrenheit and Storm Runner, they can come on down the Dietz & Watson Country Grill in the Pioneer Frontier area for a delicious new smoked turkey sandwich topped with barbecue sauce. We also recommend the hand-cut french fries!

Redesigned Menu at The Outpost

The Outpost is a dedicated gluten-free and nut-free stand inside Hersheypark committed to meeting the needs of guests with food allergies. The location now offers gluten-free wraps and speciality salads, including a Southwest Chicken Salad or Wrap and a Club Salad or Wrap.​ There is also a new Spinach Artichoke Flatbread containing gluten free flatbread, grilled chicken, mozzarella and parmesan cheeses, spinach, artichokes, and chopped garlic. The menu items are made-to-order, so they can be customized to fit guests' needs.

New Options at Spring Creek Smokehouse

Serving savory slow-cooked smokehouse meats, the Spring Creek Smokehouse is a favorite of many guests. New for summer 2019 is a fourth entrée option - the Smoked Brisket, which is thinly sliced and served with BBQ sauce. The best part? It is valid for All Day Dining and Summer Season Dining plans. While relaxing by the beautiful Spring Creek, guests can also enjoy two new dessert options - the Monkey Bread and Peanut Butter Trifle. ​

Pierogies from Overlook Food Court

Park-goers looking to beat the summer heat can make a pit stop in the climate-controlled Overlook Food Court in the Kissing Tower Hill area of the Park. There are nine different concession locations to choose from, one of which now offers pierogies topped with sautéed onions, bacon bits, shredded cheese, sour cream and crispy kielbasa grilled to perfection.

New Food Trucks

Also new for summer 2019 is three food trucks: Chick-fil-A®, Nathan's Hot Dogs, and Keepin' It Kosher. The Kosher Food Truck serves Glatt Kosher Meat and Pareve. Guests can also enjoy burgers, fries, hot dogs, and chicken strips - all prepared under rabbinic supervision.

A New Look for Pretzel House

Guests may also notice a twist in the Founder's Way area as Pretzel House is sporting a new look. Whether guests are looking for a sweet or salty snack, they can find it at this location. We recommend the hand-rolled Bavarian pretzel or sweet cinnamon sugar pretzel.

Sweet Food and Drink Deals
