Must-See Concerts and Shows at Hershey Entertainment in Spring 2024

Exciting lineup of spring entertainment coming to Hershey, PA

Spring is fast approaching, and what better way to commemorate the season than attending a concert or show at one of our Hershey Entertainment venues?

There’s something in store for everyone this spring, from concerts at GIANT Center and Broadway musicals at Hershey Theatre, to the kick-off of our outdoor concert season at Hersheypark Stadium! Check out all of the incredible acts making their way to The Sweetest Place On Earth in spring 2024.

SHOWS AT GIANT CENTER

From of star-studded performances to professional ice shows and family events, GIANT Center is a must-visit venue throughout the coming months.

March 28-31: Disney On Ice: Into the Magic

Get ready to jump back into the whimsical world of Disney On Ice: Into the Magic! Guests will seek adventure in the great wide with their favorite Disney characters, like Anna and Elsa from “Frozen,” Moana and Maui from “Moana,” Miguel from “Coco,” hosts Mickey and Minnie Mouse and so many more! Don't miss the magic of courage, love and adventure at Disney On Ice. 

April 19: Chris Tomlin

As one of today's most successful Christian touring artists, Chris Tomlin has sold out major venues across the U.S., including New York City's Madison Square Garden, Nashville's Bridgestone Arena and Red Rocks Ampitheatre in Denver, Co. With more than 12 million albums sold and 6.9 billion career global streams, Tomlin's music has inspired and uplifted an entire generation of believers. The singer will be joined by special guest CAIN for his show at GIANT Center in April.

April 27: Alabama with special guest Lee Greenwood

Over 50 years ago, cousins Teddy Gentry, Randy Owen and the late Jeff Cook left the cotton farms of Fort Payne, Alabama, to spend the summer playing music in a Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, bar called The Bowery. From humble beginnings to international stars, ALABAMA went on to sell 80 million albums and change the face and sound of country music. 

Quality songs that have become the soundtrack for American life are the foundation for ALABAMA’s stellar career. The group introduced rock-style guitars, lights, pyrotechnics and sounds to the country audience that have inspired many of today’s brightest country stars. Joining Alabama for their show in Hershey, Pa. is Lee Greenwood of “God Bless the USA” fame.

May 21: NF - Hope Tour

Hailed by Billboard as “one of the world’s biggest rappers,” NF is one of the most consumed artists of our time, generating over 30 billion combined global streams worldwide and selling over half a million tickets to date. NF is touring in support of “HOPE” – his third studio album to debut at No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Album Sales, Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums and Top Rap Albums charts.

March 23-24: Jesus Christ Superstar

Celebrating its 50th Anniversary, a new mesmerizing production of the iconic musical phenomenon returns to the stage. Originally staged by London’s Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre and helmed by the acclaimed director Timothy Sheader (“Crazy for You,” “Into the Woods”) and cutting-edge choreographer Drew McOnie (“King Kong,” “Strictly Ballroom”), this production won the 2017 Olivier Award for Best Musical Revival garnering unprecedented reviews and accolades. Appealing to both theater audiences and concert music fans, this production pays tribute to the historic 1971 Billboard Album of the Year while creating a modern, theatrical world that is uniquely fresh and inspiring. Seats are limited for all performances, so be sure to grab yours before they're gone!

April 2-7: MAMMA MIA!

For nearly 25 years, people all around the world have fallen in love with the characters, the story, and the music that make MAMMA MIA! the ultimate feel-good show. Set on a Greek island paradise where the sun always shines, a tale of love, friendship, and identity is beautifully told through the timeless hits of ABBA. On the eve of her wedding, a daughter’s quest to discover the father she’s never known brings three men from her mother’s past back to the island they last visited decades ago.

April 13: Who's Live Anyway?

“Whose Live Anyway?” is 90 minutes of hilarious improvised comedy and song all based on audience suggestions. Cast members Ryan Stiles, Greg Proops, Jeff B. Davis and Joel Murray will leave guests gasping with the very witty scenes they invent before your eyes. Audience participation is key to the show, so bring your suggestions and you might be asked to join the cast onstage! “Whose Live Anyway?” showcases some of the improv games made famous on the long-running TV show, as well as some exciting new ones featuring musical direction by Bob Derkach. 

All ages are welcomed, but please note that some PG-13 language will be used during the performance. There are only a few seats available for this performance, so act fast and grab your tickets today!

April 16: The Price is Right LIVE

Are you ready to “Come On Down?” Join the excitement as the legendary game show The Price Is Right™ comes to life in an unforgettable live event! Whether you're a long-time fan or new to the show, this is your chance to be a part of the action and win incredible prizes. Alongside celebrity host Todd Newton, randomly-selected contestants play everyone’s favorite games like Plinko™, Cliffhangers, The Big Wheel and even the fabulous Showcase. April 17: The Classic Rock Show

Paying tribute to its favorite rock heroes, The Classic Rock Show celebrates the very best of classic rock, thundering through performances from the likes of Led Zeppelin, The Rolling Stones, Queen, The Who, AC/DC and more. With over 100 million YouTube views worldwide, The Classic Rock Show is an opportunity for rock fans young and old to celebrate three decades of the world’s greatest classic rock music. Note-for-note, anthem after anthem, riff after riff and solo after solo – this stunning sound and light show culminates in a show-stopping guitar duel that is not to be missed.

April 28: The Wait Wait Stand-Up Tour

Enjoy a night of stand-up-comedy featuring some of the funniest panelists from NPR's “Wait Wait Don't Tell Me” comedy podcast. The panelists are talented bunch, as some of the most hilarious and insightful people in the country. Here’s a chance to enjoy a full evening of their brilliant stand-up comedy, featuring host Alonzo Bodden, a veteran stand-up comedian and “Wait Wait” regular. Joining Alonzo is a rotating group of panelist/performers, to be announced at a later time.

May 1: Vibez Tour - An Intimate Evening with Godsmack

In continued support of their latest studio album “Lighting Up The Sky,” Grammy-nominated hard rock band Godsmack is transforming their thunderous pyro-filled amphitheater rock show into a more intimate experience. The band is set to deliver a series of intimate evenings with acoustic and electric performances. They will tell untold stories in theaters across North America, with a stop at The Sweetest Place On Earth in May.

May 3-4: Shrek The Musical

Get ready to fall in love…all OGRE again! The hilarious stage spectacle based on the Oscar-winning smash-hit DreamWorks animated film “Shrek” will take the stage in Hershey, Pa. for three performances on May 3-4. The Tony Award-winning fairy tale musical adventure features songs from Jeanine Tesori ("Kimberly Akimbo;" “Caroline, or Change”), a side-splitting book by Pulitzer Prize winner David Lindsay-Abaire ("Kimberly Akimbo") and brings all the beloved characters you know from the film to life. USA Today raves, “Altogether irresistible!” You’ll be a “believer” too, as there’s more to the story than meets the ears.

May 29: Joe Jackson

Renowned musician and producer Joe Jackson has announced “The Two Rounds Of Racket Tour,” appearing in cities across the U.S. in summer 2024, including a stop in Hershey, Pa. This tour follows his newly released album “Mr. Joe Jackson presents: Max Champion in ‘What a Racket!’” reviving the songs of enigmatic early 20th-century English Music Hall artist Max Champion.

Each show will be performed in two parts: a solo set by Joe Jackson of his original songs, and a set based on the album “What A Racket!” – the first performance in more than 100 years of the songs of forgotten Music Hall genius Max Champion, with Joe and a nine-piece band.

BONUS: Hersheypark Stadium  Kicks Off 85th Anniversary Season

Celebrating its 85th anniversary with the longest summer concert season to-date, Hersheypark Stadium will play host to some of the biggest names in music this summer, from Justin Timberlake and Stevie Nicks to Green Day and P!NK!

May 9: Morgan Wallen

Who says summer can't kick-off in spring? Join us at Hersheypark Stadium on May 9 for an incredible start to our Hersheypark Stadium Summer Concert Series with Morgan Wallen! Special guests Nate Smith and Lauren Watkins will join Wallen for his “One Night At A Time World Tour” visit to The Sweetest Place On Earth

GIANT Center hosts an impressive line-up of star-studded performances including concerts, professional ice shows and family events. It also serves as home to the Hershey Bears Hockey Club and various PIAA high school state championship events.

Hershey Theatre opened in September 1933. It has established itself as the area’s premier performing arts center, presenting the finest in touring Broadway shows, classical music and world-renowned entertainers.
