THE HERSHEY STORY, THE MUSEUM ON CHOCOLATE AVENUE

• March 19, 20, and 25 through 28, 2016; 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.: Easter Basket Bonanza at The Hershey Story Museum. Kids can create an Easter mini basket and decorate it with vintage Hershey springtime advertising art. They can then search for signs of spring in the museum exhibits and receive a sweet treat to put in their baskets. Free with Museum Experience admission.

• Daily in March, times vary: Chocolate Lab classes. Classes include Chocolate by Design and Planet Chocolate; spring-themed lab classes begin Friday, March 25, and include Chocolate Bird Nests, "Egg-citing" Chocolate Creations and Hoppin' Chocolate Bunnies. Classes are 45 minutes and suitable for adults and families; children must be 4 years old to enter the lab. Ticket purchase required.

HERSHEY GARDENS

• Thursday, March 24, 2016, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.: Hershey Gardens Opens for the 2016 Season. Enjoy 11 beautiful themed gardens, The Children’s Garden, Swan Lake and much more. Early spring bulbs and perennials typically bloom around the beginning of April; exact time of blooming flowers is dependent upon weather conditions. (Butterfly House opens May 27.)

• Sunday, March 27, 2016, 6:30 a.m.: Easter Sunrise Service at Hershey Gardens. The community is invited to join the Hershey Ministerium for this non-denominational service.
