Hersheypark announced their Season Pass plans for 2020 & they are amazing!
We have had a Hersheypark Season Pass for the past 2 years and love it! There are so many reasons to get a season pass to Hersheypark but once you make that purchase how do you make the most of your pass? Here are my tips for making the most out of your season pass to Hersheypark!
Bring a friend
A day at the Park is always better with friends! With a season pass to Hersheypark, you get incredible discounts for friends and family all season long. In the coupon book given to 2019 pass holders, there are coupons for $20 off tickets. Also, throughout the year additional discounts are available on the website to bring a friend. With the new pass holder plans, guests who purchase the King Size Pass get 2 FREE tickets (1 for Springtime in the Park and 1 for Hersheypark in the Dark) along with 35% off up to 20 additional tickets throughout the year. Guests who purchase the Full Size Pass get 20% off up to 20 additional tickets.
Take Advantage of Hersheypark Sweet Start
Season pass holders get 1-hour early access to certain sections of the Park which is one of the best perks of having a pass. This allows families to hop on rides with less wait time. Sweet Start includes 5 roller coasters, 8 family rides and 11 kiddie rides!
Attend Special Events
Throughout the year, Hersheypark offers special events just for pass holders like Pass Holder Appreciation Weekend. Last year, we loved getting to ride the new waterslides before the public and this year, we were one of the first guests to ride the new Reese’s Cupfusion! There are still several events left for 2019 but 2020 is where it’s at! King Size Pass Holders will be the first to ride the new coaster, Candymonium. It will be the fastest, longest and tallest roller coaster at Hersheypark!

Included with your season pass to Hersheypark is unlimited visits to ZooAmerica! How awesome is that?! Exploring the zoo is a MUST DO experience during every trip to Hershey! ZooAmerica offers a firsthand look at amazing animals that can be found all across North America.
Get the Drink Cup
Let’s face it, walking around the Park can make you super thirsty so make sure to pick up the pass holder drink cup! It’s only $30 and includes FREE refills ALL YEAR LONG! You can also get the hot chocolate mug during Christmas Candylane. (The new 2020 King Size Pass includes the drink cup and mug for FREE!)
Visit the Hershey Gardens and Hershey Story Museum
Hersheypark pass holders are offered discounted admission to the Hershey Gardens and Hershey Story Museum through coupons in their pass holder book. Both are MUST DO experiences while visiting Hershey, PA. The museum offers hands-on learning experiences while the gardens encourage a love of nature!
Visit Every Season
With a Hersheypark season pass, guests can visit during all 4 Hersheypark seasons: Springtime in the Park, Summer, Hersheypark in the Dark and Christmas Candylane. This means families can experience all the magic Hersheypark has to offer. From trick or treating to taking pictures with Santa, season pass holders can enjoy all the holiday fun.
Spend the Day at the Waterpark
Too hot out? Then head over to Hersheypark and beat the heat at The Boardwalk which is included with Park admission. You can spend hot days relaxing in a tube on the lazy river, splashing around in the wave pool or zipping down the water slides. With your season pass to Hersheypark, there is no need to join the local pool or take the long drive to the beach. Just pack a bag, grab a chair at The Boardwalk and enjoy the day!
Go camping
Within the pass holder coupon book are coupons for discounted stays at the Hersheypark Camping Resort! This is our go-to vacation destination EVERY summer! We love staying at the deluxe cabin but they also offer smaller cabins, tent sites and RV sites!
Enjoy a Spa Day
Now this may be one of my favorite ways to take advantage of my Hersheypark season pass! Pass holders can enjoy discounts on spa services at both MeltSpa and the Spa at The Hotel Hershey. Both offer unique and relaxing spa experiences with many of them infusing chocolate into their treatments.
Make Each Visit Unique
The beauty of having a season pass means you can make every trip a new and exciting experience. Of course you can go on your favorite rides but you can also spend the entire day at The Boardwalk if you want. Then you can come back another day to just ride all the coasters. You can even spend one day just eating desserts or visiting characters.
