Kesha and Macklemore Celebrate the "Good Old Days" at Hersheypark Stadium

Saturday, July 21 might have been a rainy night at Hersheypark Stadium, but that didn't stop Kesha and Macklemore from putting on an incredible show!

Wes Period opened the show, and made the crowd eager with excitement to see who he called his "big brother and big sister," Kesha and Macklemore. Not long after his set ended, Kesha descended onto the stage, and sang a mix of new and old songs. When her set concluded, Macklemore came on stage, and his energy exploded when he performed songs like "Thrift Shop" and "Same Love."

Full circle: Seven summers ago, I worked at an amusement park called Hershey Park. I played 3-4 shows a day with a band called the 'Soda Pops' we played songs by Stevie wonder, Donna Summer, earth wind and fire and more. I wore a bright purple shirt with my name-tag on it and navy blue khaki shorts that rode well above the knee. I lived with the most talented young musicians from across the country for 4 straight months that summer. I've never laughed, cried harder in my life. In front of 15,000, I came back to Hershey and took the stage with my new brother and musical family @macklemore. I'm overwhelmed with emotion and such stupid gratitude. To my extended family: Hershey Park, I love you! Wouldn't be here today without that beautiful summer of 2011. Feel free to share your full circle life stories below
