Thousands of tulips bloom in spring 2022
Since 1942, springtime at Hershey Gardens is met with great anticipation, by both guests and staff, with the colorful arrival of thousands of tulips. This spring is no different!
This year’s tulip display at Hershey Gardens features more than 21,000 blooms representing 70 cultivars. Tulips are in peak bloom right now, and will most likely look good through the beginning of May, weather depending.
Guests can enjoy the colorful mix of early-blooming varieties, plus mid- and late-season bloomers. New varieties include Innuendo, Marie Jo, Princess Irene, Marilyn, Couleur Cardinal, El Nino and Tom Pouce.
The beds are truly a rainbow of color—from pale whites and yellows to deep reds and burgundies—it’s
a stunning display.
