It's Tulip Time at Hershey Gardens 2026

Visitors can see more than 28,000 tulips in 45 varieties this spring

Written by: Anthony Haubert

After much anticipation, 28,000 stunning tulips are now in peak bloom at Hershey Gardens. This year’s display showcases nearly 20 new cultivars of tulips, alongside 25 returning cultivars. The overall display features soft pastel tones accented with vibrant pops of bright colors and deep tones, creating a beautiful celebration of the spring season.

Visitors can see the tulips during normal operating hours daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. But, hurry! Given the weather, the tulips are not expected to last long.

“The soft, pale shades of some of the varieties planted next to the bright, bold hues of other varieties really creates a festive display,” added Alyssa Hagarman, horticulture manager. “Nearly every color of tulip is featured in this year’s show.”

The tradition of tulip displays at Hershey Gardens dates back to 1942, when the first seasonal exhibit was introduced to herald the arrival of spring. Over the decades, this display has continued, captivating guests with its beauty and variety.

Tickets to Hershey Gardens can be purchased online at HersheyGardens.org or at the door upon arrival.
