Don’t miss out on a summer of fun at our water park! Did you know your Hersheypark ticket includes access to The Boardwalk at Hersheypark from Memorial Day through Labor Day? Whether you’re looking to cool down, or catch some sun, The Boardwalk has something for everyone. The Boardwalk is open daily through Labor Day, September 4, 2023, so plan to visit before the season is over! 

Our 11-acre water park includes 16 attractions that family and friends can enjoy throughout the day. Grab a lounge chair and enjoy the sunshine, relax around the Lazy River, or race down our thrilling water slides. Take a look at what our water park offers for guests of all ages: 

Exciting Thrills

Breakers Edge Water Coaster 

What happens when you mix all the fun of The Boardwalk with all the excitement of a Hersheypark roller coaster? You get the exhilarating amusement of Breakers Edge Water Coaster! Rocket through thrilling splash-filled hills, intense FlyingSAUCER turns and action-packed high-speed tunnels in this dynamic water coaster meant to surprise even the most seasoned adrenaline-seekers!

Coastline Plunge

With six slides to choose from comes six different ways to enjoy Coastline Plunge! The amazing selection of Hydro, Pipeline, Riptide, Surge, Vortex and Whirlwind are sure to please all thrill-seekers and adrenaline-junkies alike and is the perfect spot to catch some currents at Hersheypark.

Whitecap Racer

Climb to the top of the leaderboards in one of the longest mat-racing slides in the world, Whitecap Racer! With six separate lanes all vying to be the first to the bottom, Whitecap Racer is sure to be a staple for some good competition within your group’s trip to The Boardwalk. Also, be sure to grab your free HPGO wristband and download the official Hersheypark app to document your times and prove why you are the fastest mat-racer at Hersheypark!

Family Fun

Bayside Pier

Enjoy rolling waves, fountains, tipping cones and more at Bayside Pier! This calm kiddie pool is the perfect place for families or groups with younger children to kick back and enjoy some waves. With a zero-depth entry and average depth of just 18 inches, Bayside Pier is an ideal option for new swimmers to spend their day at The Boardwalk.

East Coast Water Works

Imagine for a moment a giant water-based playground with seven slide attractions, two crawl tunnels, nearly 600 interactive water toys, a 1,000 gallon tipping bucket and more than 54,000 gallons of water-based fun for the entire family. If thinking about that makes you excited for a water-filled day at The Boardwalk then East Coast Water Works is for you! Make sure to watch out, that tipping bucket will get you soaked!

Intercoastal Waterway

Looking for a break from the hustle and bustle of Hersheypark and a place to float away from it all? Our lazy river, Intercoastal Waterway, may be just the break you need. Experience the 1,360 feet of winding lazy river, featuring scenic bridges and rushing waterfalls as you drift your way around The Boardwalk

Sandcastle Cove

At Sandcastle Cove children and families can splash, play and explore water slides, cannons, water curtains, jets and a pool all while in the comfort of a zero-depth entry kid-friendly area. This attraction is another perfect place for the younger members of your group as the average depth is just 18 inches, so get your adventure on and explore!

Shoreline Sprayground

An all-ages water playground is yet another perfect place to cool off on a hot summer day, and Shoreline Sprayground certainly fits that description! With features such as misters, bubblers, dancing fountains and a drenching tipping bucket, Shoreline Sprayground is an amazing place to take even the youngest members of your group, as the entire area is zero-depth! Surrounded by multiple shaded seating areas, take advantage of this sweet option to recharge on a hot summer day! 

The Shore

Experience the power of the ocean at our very own wave pool, The Shore at Hersheypark! This 378,000 gallon pool begins with a zero-depth entry, perfect for younger children, and gradually deepens up to six feet in depth! The Shore at Hersheypark is the perfect place to cool off and catch some waves!

Tidal Force

Watch out, that is one HUGE splash zone! 

Located right next to the entrance to The Boardwalk, guests looking to get drenched would be amiss to forget about the power of Tidal Force. This 100 foot tall water ride dives forward at speeds of 50 miles per hour and greets you with one of the biggest splashes found inside Hersheypark. If riding is not your thing, the observation bridge located at the exit is bound to leave you just as soaked as the riders! Also, Tidal Force is the only ride in The Boardwalk that does not require a bathing suit, making it perfect for those last minute cool-offs in the blazing summer heat!
