Hersheypark Stadium, GIANT Center and Hershey Theatre Ranked Among Top Venues in the World

Pollstar Recognizes Top Venues by Ticket Sales for 2019

Three Hershey entertainment venues are among the top entertainment venues in the world according to Pollstar Magazine, a publication that ranks arenas, stadiums and performing arts theatres on live event ticket sales.

Hersheypark Stadium

Hersheypark Stadium was ranked second in the U.S. and 13th Worldwide, and the only Pennsylvania venue to rank on a list of Top 100 Stadiums.

The 30,000-seat venue is on pace to rank among the top stadiums again with a stellar 2020 lineup that features.

GIANT Center

The 10,500-seat arena ranked 140 out of 200 for Worldwide Ticket Sales at Arena Venues. GIANT Center will feature a wide variety of performances this summer.

Hershey Theatre

In a similar ranking, Hershey Theatre landed at 77 out of 200 for Worldwide Ticket Sales at Theatres. Hershey Theatre will host a handful of shows this summer, including Broadway tours and family-friendly entertainment.

“These rankings would not be possible without the commitment of Live Nation and other promoters across the country who see how viable this market can be for live entertainment,” said Heather Storm, managing director of entertainment programming and execution. “Many concert-goers extend their time in Hershey and visit Hersheypark, stay in our hotels, dine at our restaurants and contribute to the economic impact on the region. We’re grateful to the promoters, artists, agents, managers, and most importantly, the music fans, who make these nights so memorable for so many.”

The Pollstar rankings are determined by tickets sold worldwide for shows played between November 22, 2018 and November 20, 2019. During the time frame, 10 of the top 50 Pollstar worldwide tours graced the stages in Hershey, Pa. To view the Pollstar rankings, visit www.pollstar.com.
