Hershey Theatre Celebrates World Kindness Day on November 13 with Come From Away

The Hit Musical Arrives in Hershey Next Month for Eight Shows on Dec. 26-31

Today, November 13, is celebrated as World Kindness Day across the globe each year. In honor of World Kindness Day, Hershey Theatre invites you to learn more about the upcoming engagement of COME FROM AWAY, and encourages you to spread kindness throughout your community on November 13. COME FROM AWAY, the hit musical based on the remarkable true story about how kindness and community changed the lives of thousands forever, will visit The Sweetest Place On Earth for eight performances on December 26-31.

COME FROM AWAY tells the remarkable true story of 7,000 stranded passengers and the small town in Newfoundland that welcomed them. Cultures clashed and nerves ran high, but uneasiness turned into trust, music soared into the night, and gratitude grew into enduring friendships. On September 11, 2001 the world stopped. On September 12, their stories moved us all.

This breathtaking musical was written by Tony nominees Irene Sankoff and David Hein, directed by Tony-winning Best Director Christopher Ashley and musical staging by Tony-nominee Kelly Devine. The tour is directed by Daniel Goldstein with musical staging by Richard J. Hinds, based on the original Broadway direction and choreography.

In honor of World Kindness Day, guests can grab select seats to performances of COME FROM AWAY at Hershey Theatre for 25% off using code KINDNESS. This offer is valid from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. on November 13, 2023.
