This post originally appeared on AGrandeLife.net

love going to Broadway shows…I just don’t get to go to actual Broadway that often! Which is why when Broadways shows tour nearby I try to go every chance I can.

I have seen shows in Philadelphia and it wasn’t until this past Friday that i saw a show at the Hershey Theatre! The Hershey Theatre has some amazing shows coming this season that you are not going to want to miss.

ABOUT THE HERSHEY THEATRE

Located in downtown Hershey, Pennsylvania, the magnificent Hershey Theatre is the area’s premier performing arts center, presenting the finest in touring Broadway shows, classical music and dance attractions, and world-renowned entertainers.

The Hershey Theatre was conceived by Milton S. Hershey in the early twentieth century. Lancaster architect C. Emlen Urban drew the plans for the Community Center Building in 1915; however, it was built between 1929 and 1933 as part of Mr. Hershey’s “Great Building Campaign” of the Great Depression, which also produced such Hershey landmarks as The Hotel Hershey, the Hersheypark Arena, and the Hersheypark Stadium.

When next visiting the Hershey Theatre, count the number of lions that the architect placed throughout the theatre. Hint: There are more than eighteen!
