Hershey Gardens Welcomes June 2025 with 3,000 Blooming Roses
Guests Named “Rose” Receive Free Admission in June
Hershey Gardens will kick off the month of June with 3,000 blooming roses representing 115 varieties and free admission all month long for anyone named "Rose", or has "Rose" in their first, middle or last name, with presentation of identification.
Hershey Gardens originally opened in 1937 as a 3.5-acre rose garden out of Milton Hershey’s request to create “a nice garden of roses.” When it first opened, the 3.5-acre garden was called Hershey Rose Garden.

Today’s Historic Hershey Rose Garden (as the original 3.5 acres are now called) is virtually identical to the original 1937 rose garden and is the only local attraction with a large colorful rose display.
