Hershey Entertainment & Resorts Names 2025 Legacy of Excellence Award Winner

Hershey Entertainment & Resorts (HE&R) announced the winner of the Legacy of Excellence Award, the company’s highest peer-to-peer recognition. Each year, dozens of team members nominate their colleagues to be considered for this prestigious honor. The Legacy of Excellence Award is awarded to someone who embodies the HE&R Core Values, is devoted to our founder Milton S. Hershey, and gives back to Milton Hershey School.

This year, 40 team members were nominated by 80 of their peers for this distinguished award. HE&R is delighted to announce Scott Green as this year’s recipient of the 2025 Legacy of Excellence Award.

Scott, Fire & Grain culinary team member at Hershey Lodge, was nominated by his teammate Andrew Parys. Here are a few highlights from his nomination:

• Scott shows up every shift with pride in the work he does and respect for the standards that came before him. He takes ownership of his role, does things the right way even when no one is watching, and treats the kitchen like something worth protecting. His consistency, integrity, and genuine care for doing a good job reflect the kind of dedication our founder would be proud of.
• Scott genuinely cares about the guest experience, his coworkers, and the energy of the workplace. He’s always willing to help, step in, or go the extra mile without being asked. He brings positivity into the kitchen every day, and his singing and humor lift everyone’s mood, which absolutely carries through to better service for our guests.
