Hershey Entertainment & Resorts Company Appoints Leslie Ferraro to Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer

The Board of Directors of Hershey Entertainment & Resorts Company (HE&R) has announced the promotion of Leslie Ferraro to Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer, effective immediately.

“Since Leslie joined the company in 2014, her core responsibility has been to lead the strategic and integrated marketing approach for the entire destination, while focusing her team’s efforts on delivering excellence across the marketing spectrum,” said John Lawn, President and Chief Operating Officer for HE&R. “She has done an exceptional job in leveraging data through enhanced analytics to better understand our guests and generate greater demand across the destination.”

Ferraro joined the HE&R team in 2014 as Director of Entertainment Marketing, and became Managing Director of Marketing in 2015. In 2016, she was promoted to Vice President of Marketing and Business Analytics where she was responsible for the destination’s overall marketing strategy – inclusive of the branding, creative, guest engagement, advertising and media, promotions and business analytics disciplines. As a valued business partner, Ferraro has been an important driver of strategic decisions impacting the destination and the company’s long range planning.

Prior to joining HE&R, Ferraro spent 15 years in the Consumer Goods Industry working for PepsiCo in various leadership roles including; Marketing, Director of Sales and General Manager of Operations for the Pennsylvania Market.

Ferraro is passionate about community involvement and plays an active role in various organizations such as PA Sales Executives and HE&R’s Women In Leadership. She also volunteers her time with Children’s Miracle Network at Penn State Health Children’s Hospital and is an active participant in the Milton Hershey School’s Project Fellowship program.

A graduate of Indiana University of Pennsylvania, Ferraro holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Marketing. She also has a Master’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from the University of Pittsburgh.
