The fun in Hershey, PA doesn't stop just because Hersheypark is closed for the 1st part of the year! There is still plenty of fun to be had in Hershey for the whole family. Winter is actually one of our favorite times to visit these attractions in Hershey because they aren't quite as crowded!

Hershey's Water Works at Hershey Lodge

Hershey's Water Works is the indoor pool complex at Hershey Lodge and is a great get-away in the middle of winter. It's the perfect cure for cabin fever! Pick a night, pack your bags and plan on spending the day you arrive and the day you leave splashing around in. There's even a jacuzzi for adults, an arcade, dining spot and place to grab some adult drinks. We can spend hours as a family having fun at Hershey's Water Works no matter how many times we've been there.

Be sure to check out some of the packages they offer as well to stay overnight at the Hershey Lodge, get passes to Hershey's Water Works, arcade credits, a dining option and more! They really make it so easy to book it all in one shot so all you have to worry about is showing up and having fun!

Hershey Gardens

Hershey Gardens is still open even during the winter months. Check their calendar for special events such as guided garden walks, plant sales and more. The Butterfly Atrium, located inside Hershey Gardens, is also open year-round. An indoor exhibit that mimics a tropical oasis, it's the perfect way to spend a chilly winter day!

Hershey Theatre

There is no shortage of quality entertainment at Hershey Theatre no matter what time of year it is! From touring Broadway shows to comedians to musicians, be sure to get on Hershey Theatre's mailing list so you don't miss your chance at getting tickets.

If you've never been to Hershey Theatre, you're in for a real treat! With gorgeous tile ceilings and walls, just stepping inside the lobby is worth the trip! Make an evening out of it by grabbing dinner across the street at Devon Seafood + Steak or Houlihan's before your show starts! Hershey Theatre is located right in the center of downtown Hershey so be sure to glance up at the Hershey Kiss streetlights while you're walking from the free parking lot into the theatre.

The Hershey Story

One of our favorite ways to spend a winter day as a family is by visiting The Hershey Story! I've always been so enamored by the story of Milton and Catherine Hershey, and The Hershey Story does such a fantastic job of bringing it to life! With interactive exhibits that educate you as you're having fun, it really is an ideal place to visit no matter what your age!

You'll get to see exhibits that showcase how Mr. Hershey went from failures to riches, how he built the town of Hershey (one of my favorite stories!) and how his legacy continues to the present day! In addition to the interactive exhibits, be sure to check out their event schedule to see if there are any special events taking place during your visit.

The Spa At The Hotel Hershey and MeltSpa by Hershey

If the winter weather has you feeling achy and like you're dragging, there's nothing quite as refreshing as a massage or facial! Chase the winter blues away and come out rejuvenated at one of these two luxurious spas located in Hershey!

MeltSpa by Hershey is located in downtown Hershey and is a fantastic option for a day spa. With treatment rooms, a relaxation lounge, a salon and their signature hot cocoa, it's a gorgeous facility where you'll feel pampered the whole time.

The Spa At The Hotel Hershey is often referred to as the Chocolate Spa. It's the ultimate in luxurious spa experiences with a setting to match! Treat yourself to one of their signature cocoa or rose treatments as an homage to Milton and Catherine Hershey!
