HE&R’s Most Tenured Employee is….

At Hershey Entertainment & Resorts (HE&R) we have a historic tradition of honoring team members who have devoted 25 years of service to the company. One such individual has earned this distinction two times over, making him the longest tenured employee at HE&R. Glenn Wagner, Laundry Production at Hershey Laundry & Dry Cleaning has been a valued team member for 53 years. Even more astonishing? In all those years Glenn has only been absent one day! A lot has changed with laundry production throughout his 53 years, but the one thing that has remained constant is Glenn’s ongoing loyalty. I had the chance to talk to Glenn about his more than half a century length of employment with the company.

We received this fun tidbit from one of Glenn’s colleagues: Glenn was the soil sort team when I started in 1992. A one man sorting machine. He sorted and weighed the incoming soiled linens and prepped them for the wash aisle techs to process. Today, we have a team of four to five employees who do the job of what Glenn did back then. He is an amazing employee even now in his “Golden years”, still working as hard and strong as he did in the early years.
