HE&R Celebrates 2023 Partners of the Year
Hershey Entertainment & Resorts Awards Team Members Across the Destination
Hershey Entertainment & Resorts (HE&R) recently named its 2023 Partners of the Year at Town Hall meetings across several properties.
Throughout the 2023 calendar year, team members were nominated by their peers or supervisors for “Team Member of the Month” recognition for embodying HE&R's Core Values: Devoted to the Legacy, Selfless Spirit of Service, Team-Focused and Respectful of Others. Then, at the beginning of the following year, leaders at each property choose the team member who earns the distinction of being named “Partner of the Year.” The winning team members receive a monetary gift and more!

Jenny Marks, Massage Therapist at The Hotel Hershey
Jenny's nominator shared, “Jenny is such an integral part of our team at The Spa At The Hotel Hershey and is always very supportive, hardworking and dedicated to her role, our guests and our entire team. Jenny is 100% devoted to the success of our spa and, thus, Milton Hershey’s legacy. Jenny is such an incredible asset to our team, taking great care of our guests and supporting our day-to-day spa operations. We would not be able to operate so seamlessly without team members like Jenny on board.”
Felicia Smith, Cook at Hershey Lodge
Felicia's nominator said, “Felicia is a valued culinary team member and provides exceptional leadership and dedication to the Bears' Den. Whether it is late Hersheypark nights or Hershey Bears games, Felicia passionately leads her team members and ensures our guests are fed and happy. The holiday weekends were incredibly challenging, but Felicia helped both her team and others prosper during this time. Felicia will soon celebrate 17 years with Hershey Lodge and continues to demonstrate our Core Values."
Gerry Kipphorn, Electrician at Hersheypark Entertainment Complex
Gerry's nominators stated, “Gerry was instrumental in assisting in the setup of Dark Nights. He worked tirelessly to assist in the installation of all four existing haunted houses while also ensuring that all scare zones were put together prior to their first weekend of operation. Although there were many individuals who assisted in this large undertaking, Gerry stood out specifically with Creatures Uncaged. Gerry works closely with the Attractions Department and external partners to make sure that all individuals have the support that they need for any project or event. We can't thank you enough for being such an awesome teammate."
Morgan Detweiler, Communications Coordinator at Hershey Country Club
Morgan's nominator said, “Morgan performed in her role exceptionally well by increasing engagement through effective communication. She increased traffic to social media by developing engaging and relevant content. Morgan also does a great job creating promotional flyers to drive awareness and attendance at golf, social and recreational events. Morgan has a great attitude and has developed positive relationships with the staff at Hershey Country Club."
