HE&R Announces Military And Veterans Employee Resource Group
MAV Joins Lineup of Seven Employee-Led Resource Groups at HE&R
The following email message was recently shared with our team members as part of the launch of Hershey Entertainment & Resorts' seventh employee-led Resource Group.

Hershey Entertainment & Resorts (HE&R) proudly announces the company’s newest Employee Resource Group (ERG), MAV: Military & Veterans. MAV is a unit within HE&R committed to supporting and recognizing US Service Members, Veterans, and supporters through community connections and workforce opportunities. A group of team members comprised of committed veterans and supporters leads MAV.
According to the 2021 U.S. Census, our country has approximately 16.5 million veterans, about 6.4% of the nation's adult population. Currently, an estimated 1.3 million Americans are active-duty military personnel. The Council on Foreign Relations notes that ‘the army is the largest U.S. military service, followed by the navy, air force, marine corps, and coast guard. The space force became its own armed services branch in late 2019 and is still developing.’
