Hersheypark Halloween  and Dark Nights  Return

Families can experience Hersheypark Halloween like never before as they play by day and fright by night, with thrills on 50 rides and attractions (weather and maintenance permitting), lights-out rides on select coasters, trick-or-treating, Hershey Characters glow dance parties and the  Creatures Of The Night flashlight tour at ZooAmerica North American Wildlife Park.  The nightmare continues for Dark Nights in its second year, as darkness is sweeping over Hersheypark with new, blood-curdling frights lurking about. With five haunted houses and three scare zones, the terrifying tales guests thought they knew are turning the page nightly at 6 p.m.

A general Hersheypark Halloween admission ticket grants guests access to the five haunted houses of Haunted Coal Mine: Curse Of The Tommyknockers, Creatures Uncaged, The Descent: Catacombs of Decay and Auntie Mortem’s Abattoir, an all-new house for 2023. Midways will also transform into three scare zones - Darkstone’s Hollow, Fallout Zone and Midway of Misery.

This year, Hersheypark Halloween and Dark Nights will feature an elevated food and beverage scene with more than 55 scary good eats and spell-binding drinks. Guests can get a taste of some of the frightfully delicious food offerings available during Dark Nights with the Dark Nights Tasting Pass. The Pass includes a choice of up to five specialty menu items from more than 35 food and beverage options at more than 15 locations throughout the Park, such as Toxic Mac & Cheese, Pulled Pork Sliders, Blood Orange Lemonade, and Black Velvet Cake. 

Hersheypark is also rolling out the dead carpet with the RIP Dinner Buffet at Great Scare Catering. The dreadfully delicious dinner buffet includes eerie entrées, desserts to die for and more, while some of the monsters lurk about. RIP Dinner Buffet guests will also receive a Single-Use Fast Track accepted at any of the five Dark Nights haunted houses and a Buy One Get One Hyperdeck Coupon, valid on the new Zombie-themed virtual reality game.

Visit Spirit’s Rooftop Bar at The Chocolatier

Located in Hershey’s Chocolatetown region, The Chocolatier Restaurant, Bar + Patio will offer Spirit’s Rooftop Bar, a rooftop rendezvous available exclusively for guests of Hersheypark.  Guests who dare to explore the haunted rooftop bar will find spirits both real and imagined - from fiery cocktails and octopus-inspired Bloody Marys to absinthe creations and libations that literally pop tableside during all Hersheypark Halloween and Dark Nights operating days starting at 5 p.m. on Fridays and 3 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays. 

Experience Creatures of the Night at ZooAmerica starting Oct 13

ZooAmerica North American Wildlife Park,  an 11-acre zoo that cares for more than 200 animals, is hosting their Creatures of the Night seasonal event on select dates this fall. The zoo will open after dark for guests of all ages to explore the nighttime habits of the nocturnal North American animals by flashlight under the cover of night. 

Tickets are available for purchase online at www.ZooAmerica.com.  ZooAmerica is included with a Hersheypark ticket only by accessing the Zoo through the Hersheypark bridge during posted Park hours.

Fall Into Relaxation at the Hershey Spas

Taste New Fall Menu Offerings

The culinary teams across Hershey, Pa. never fail to impress with delicious seasonal menus incorporating the warm, rich flavors of autumn. This season, visitors to our sweet destination can taste the many flavors of fall (think pumpkin, apple, maple and more) at one of more than a dozen unique and award-winning restaurants located at our resort properties and around town. Attend A Hershey Bears  Game

The reigning Calder Cup Champions are excited to take the ice for their 86th season in the American Hockey League! The Hershey Bears will open the season on Saturday, Oct. 14 at 7 p.m. against the Belleville Senators. Here they will commemorate their 2023 Calder Cup championship with the raising of a 12th Calder Cup banner to the rafters of GIANT Center. 

Promotional games happening this fall include Hersheypark Pass Night on Oct. 15, where fans in attendance will receive a 2024 Hersheypark ticket, as well as Reese's Trick-Or-Treat Night on Oct. 29 where fans 12 & under will receive a trick-or-treat bag upon entry and have the opportunity to trick-or-treat around the concourse during pre-game and intermissions. 

Explore Hershey’s  Chocolate World

Did you know the world's largest Hershey’s store is right next to Hersheypark? Hershey’s Chocolate World is filled with your favorite Hershey’s candy and fun attractions for the whole family. On weekends this fall, Chocolate World will host sweet seasonal events like a Trick-Or-Treat Trail where guests can dress up in costumes and collect candy, and a Trick-Or-Treat Trolly ride, a seasonal variation of the original trolley show. Other activities include an opportunity to Create Your Own Candy Bar, a FREE Hershey’s Chocolate Tour and more. 

Take A Stroll Through Hershey  Gardens

Hershey Gardens is a 23-acre walk-through botanical display garden that will have a variety of autumn flora and foliage this season.   During your visit, be sure to check out the Milton & Catherine Hershey Conservatory, which includes a year-round indoor tropical Butterfly Atrium featuring 600 butterflies from around the world. The atrium is one of only 25 year-round indoor tropical butterfly atriums in the U.S.

Visit The Hershey Story  Museum

Visit The Hershey Story Museum to learn all about the life and legacy of our founder Milton S. Hershey, the town he created, and the lives he touched. Additional paid experiences are also available, including the Chocolate Lab, where you can try your hand at chocolate pouring and decorating and Chocolate Tastings where you can  try different chocolates from around the world.
