Enjoy the Long Weekend in Hershey, PA

Looking for something to do on this long weekend? Look no further....there's plenty of sweet things happening in Hershey The Sweetest Place On Earth! Grab your loved ones and choose from some of our ideas we've outlined below.

Most of all, please be sure to pay respects to those who have served on Veterans Day, Nov. 11.

Hear from an Astronaut

Astronaut and US Navy veteran Scott Kelly will be at Hershey Theatre on Nov. 10 for his "The Sky Is Not The Limit" tour. Captain Kelly spent a year in space, and upon returning, Scott, together with his identical twin brother Mark on Earth, paved the way for the future of space travel and exploration as the subjects of an unprecedented NASA study on how space affects the human body. With awe-inspiring stories from space and personal reflections on leadership, teamwork and testing limits, Scott inspires others to believe that they can reach any goal, no matter how ambitious or audacious. As he looks back on the expedition that shuttled him into history books, audiences revel in the presence of a true American hero and gather unique takeaways on persistence, resilience and self-determination that transform the way they view their own journey through life.

Cheer on the home team

The Hershey Bears are home on Saturday, Nov. 10 against Springfield. It's the team's annual Hometown Heroes Night, where they'll honor our military and first responders. All fans will receive an American Flag upon entrance, courtesy of United Brotherhood Of Carpenters 431. It's always a special game and we hope you'll be part of it as our Bears pay tribute to the heroes in the crowd.

Play a round of golf

You read that correctly. There's still time to enjoy a round or two and if you’ve never heard of or golfed at Spring Creek Golf Course, now's the time to experience it. Don’t miss this gem of a course located on Chocolate Avenue. Spring Creek claims bragging rights for being the area’s longest nine-hole golf course. It features 2,200 yards of lush greens, holes lined with mature trees and golfers enjoy the natural Spring Creek stream winding throughout. This par 33 course is perfect for players of all ages – especially those just getting into the game of golf.

Visit the zoo

ZooAmerica North American Wildlife Park celebrated its 40th anniversary this summer! Open year-round, the Zoo focuses on highlighting North American animals and is committed to conservation of all animals. Walk amidst the falling leaves throughout this 11-acre zoo and visit the more than 200 animals across five different regions.
