COVID-19 Safety Updates from Hersheypark Stadium

Our Promise To You

For more than 80 years, Hersheypark Stadium has provided world-class entertainment and sporting events in a safe and enjoyable environment. Our continued commitment to protecting our artists, guests, and team members serves as the foundation of the enhanced efforts we have implemented to ensure the well-being and best possible experience for our guests.

With guidance from The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Pennsylvania Department of Health to mitigate the spread of COVID-19, here’s how we plan to be ready for you at this time.

  • Increased Cleaning & Sanitization: We will sanitize high-touch areas frequently and add sanitization stations throughout Hersheypark Stadium.
  • Face Coverings: All guests two years of age and older, including those who have received a COVID-19 vaccine, are required to wear face coverings, except while actively eating or drinking at their ticketed seat. Guests or employees who have a disability that prevents them from wearing a cloth face covering are provided an alternative accommodation of wearing a face shield.
  • Temperature Screenings: Guests should be prepared to undergo a temperature screening with a contactless, infrared thermometer, prior to entering Hersheypark Stadium.
  • Social Distancing and Capacity Management: We will follow all state guidelines and requirements as applicable at the time of the show.
  • Enhanced Team Member Training: Our team members will undergo increased training on new protocols.

These operational adjustments may change as guidance and requirements from various government agencies and industry organizations continue to evolve. We appreciate our guests partnering with us on the following efforts to maintain a safe environment for all.

New Safety Enhancements

Your Safety is Our Top Priority

Our company has always maintained high cleaning, sanitization, and disinfection standards, which meet or exceed established industry guidelines. With that foundation, we will introduce new enhancements that adhere to the guidance and requirements issued by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Pennsylvania Department of Health.

Increased Cleaning & Sanitization

Frequent cleaning and sanitization will occur in both front and back of house areas for guest and team member safety.

  • We will establish schedules and procedures for sanitizing high-touch areas frequently with EPA-approved chemicals/cleaning agents. Those areas include door handles, counters, handrails, seats, benches, bathroom surfaces, and ATM machines.
  • We will add additional hand sanitization stations throughout Hersheypark Stadium with a solution containing at least 60% alcohol. All hand sanitizer for guests and team members will be an antimicrobial agent that kills or renders inactive 99.9% of all known bacteria, viruses, and fungi that are present on surfaces.

Face Covering & Temperature Screenings

Per the recommendation of The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and in accordance with an Order of the Secretary of the Pennsylvania Department of Health, face coverings are required for all guests two years of age and older, including those who have received a COVID-19 vaccine, at all times during their visit, except while actively eating or drinking at their ticketed seat.

If you have a disability that prevents you from wearing a face covering, our alternative accommodation is to bring and wear a face shield during your visit.

Guests should also be prepared to undergo a temperature screening with a contactless, infrared thermometer prior to entering Hersheypark Stadium. Based on guidance from health authorities, anyone displaying a temperature of 100.4 or above will not be allowed to enter.

Adherence to State Guidance and Requirements

  • We will follow all state guidance and requirements at the time of the show.
  • We will use recorded messages, signs, floor markings, and/or announcements to remind guests of health and hygiene in addition to venue safety requirements.
  • Security screening points at the entrance to Hersheypark Stadium will be configured to support state guidelines.

First Aid

  • We have onsite First Aid that is licensed as a basic life support ambulance service through the Pennsylvania Department of Health in addition to emergency medical technicians at the First Aid station in Hersheypark Stadium.
  • First Aid stations will be cleaned and disinfected after each use.
  • First Aid personnel will follow established protocols for responding to and handling guests or team members who have potential COVID-19 symptoms. All Pennsylvania Department of Health protocols will be followed. We will have designated areas for guests and team members who are exhibiting any COVID-19 symptoms.
