COVID-19 Impact Across Hershey Entertainment & Resorts

List of operational changes and safety updates across Hershey, Pa.

The COVID-19 situation and resulting impacts continue to evolve. Here is the latest information on operational changes, postponements, reopenings, and cancellations across Hershey Entertainment & Resorts and throughout the destination. 

A current COVID-19 related travel order issued by the Pennsylvania Department of Health requires that travelers over the age of 11 entering Pennsylvania from locations outside the Commonwealth, as well as Pennsylvanians who are returning home from locations outside the Commonwealth, must have a negative COVID-19 test within 72 hours prior to entering the Commonwealth or quarantine for 10 days upon entry into Pennsylvania unless they receive a negative test result during the 10-day travel quarantine period. 

Guests are encouraged to check relevant websites and social media channels for the latest information and safety protocols. 

ZooAmerica  North American Wildlife Park

ZooAmerica North American Wildlife Park is open to the public daily from 10:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. 

With guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Pennsylvania Department of Health to mitigate the spread of COVID-19, ZooAmerica has implemented a variety of new safety initiatives, including the required use of face coverings for guests over the age of 2.

Hershey Bears

The Hershey Bears, in conjunction with the American Hockey League, have released the schedule for the 2020-21 season, which features 36 regular season games, with 18 contests coming on home ice at GIANT Center

With guidance from the American Hockey League, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and the Pennsylvania Department of Health to mitigate the spread of COVID-19, we have implemented enhanced efforts to ensure the well-being and best possible experience for our guests, athletes, and team members.

Houlihan’s Restaurant + Bar in Downtown Hershey

Devon Seafood + Steak in Downtown Hershey

Cocoa Beanery on Research Boulevard

The Hotel Hershey

The Hotel Hershey is open with the following updates and impacts:  

  • Recreation, including the fitness center, indoor pool, sports & fitness complex, disc golf, game room at Harvest, resort activities, Falconry, and hiking and walking trails, is available with reduced capacity to allow for appropriate social distancing.
  • Restaurants are open throughout the property with reduced seating capacity.

Hershey Lodge

Hershey Lodge is open with the following updates and impacts: 

  • Hershey’s Water Works at Hershey Lodge indoor pool complex, fitness center, arcade, resort activities, and Falconry are available with reduced capacity to allow for appropriate social distancing.
  • Restaurants are open throughout the property with reduced seating capacity.

Hersheypark Camping Resort (HPCR)

Hersheypark Camping Resort remains open with various offerings including:

  • Reservations are available for all site types.
  • Country Store and Sweets & More is open at reduced capacity to allow for appropriate social distancing. Propane sales are open.
  • The game room, playgrounds, and basketball and volleyball courts are open with reduced capacity to allow for appropriate social distancing.

The Spa At The Hotel Hershey  and MeltSpa by Hershey

Hershey Country Club  (HCC)

The Hershey Country Club clubhouse, including the fitness center, is open to members. Club Members may call the Golf Shop at 717-533-2464 daily to book a tee time. 

Hogan Grill is open with limited capacity guidelines in place. Check the website for hours of operation. 

Spring Creek Golf Course

Spring Creek Golf Course is currently closed. 

Hershey Laundry & Dry Cleaning

Hershey Laundry & Dry Cleaning retail store at Stoverdale Commons, 765 Middletown Road, Hummelstown, is now open Monday through Saturday. The retail location at the Karn's Food Store in Hershey is permanently closed.

Hersheypark

Hersheypark was open to the public on select dates from July 3, 2020, through Jan. 3, 2021, for its summer season and two seasonal celebrations - Hersheypark In The Dark and Hersheypark Christmas Candylane.

With guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and Pennsylvania Department of Health to mitigate the spread of COVID-19, Hersheypark implemented new health & safety enhancements, including the required use of face coverings for guests over the age of 2 and social distancing, to help protect the well-being of our guests, team members, and community.
