Celebrate National Ice Cream Day 2021 at Hersheypark

There's No Better Place to Enjoy Ice Cream Than The Sweetest Place On Earth

Today, Sunday, July 18, is National Ice Cream Day! What better place to celebrate this sweet occasion than Hersheypark? If you plan to visit today (or any day this summer) take a look at the ice cream options available throughout the 121-acre amusement park below. Tip: Download the Hersheypark app for a list of open locations on the day of your visit.

Milton's  Ice Cream Parlor

Have you stopped by Milton's Ice Cream Parlor since it opened in April 2021? The culinary experience located in the new Hershey's Chocolatetown region is inspired by Mr. Hershey's early ventures in sweetness that came before his famous chocolate factory. Expert Ice Creamologists will craft custom creations from 100% local dairy house-made ice cream, Hershey’s candy toppings, decadent sauces, and more.

Guests can choose from more than a dozen house-made ice cream flavors, including Candymonium, Reese's Peanut Butter, Toasted Marshmallow, Summer Peach, and Malted Memories (Spartan ice cream hand-crafted by Milton Hershey School students) to name a few.

Other offerings include a King Size Sundae served in a souvenir Hersheypark dish with 5 scoops of house-made ice cream, confetti cake, unlimited toppings, fresh whipped cream and a cherry; a "warm" ice cream sandwich; chocolate, strawberry and vanilla milkshakes; and two ice cream floats.

The Chocolatier  Restaurant, Bar + Patio

The Chocolatier is an all-new, full-service restaurant, bar, and patio open year-round in Hershey’s Chocolatetown. The largest restaurant in Hershey is open for both Hersheypark guests and those without a park ticket looking for delicious food, hand-crafted cocktails and, of course, signature desserts including ice cream!

Guests can indulge in the S'mores Than Chocolate Cake & Ice Cream, which includes graham cracker cake, Toasted Marshmallow ice cream, smoked graham crumble, toasted marshmallow fluff, and a sidecar of melted milk chocolate.

The Sooper Dooper Shareable Ice Cream Sundae is also a guest favorite. It features 8 scoops of today's house-made ice cream flavors, chocolate Belgium waffle, salted caramel sauce, raspberry sauce, whipped cream, hot fudge, rainbow sprinkles, Reese's Pieces candy, chopped peanuts and chocolate chips.

Four over-the-top milkshakes  - Hershey's Chocolate, Hersheypark Happy Birthday Cake, Reese's Peanut Butter and Strawberry Twist - are also available.

Simply Chocolate

Guests looking for a signature Hershey's experience should look no further than Simply Chocolate. The dessert location in Founder's Way is home to the award-winning King Size Shakes. Guests can also enjoy a hand-dipped or soft-serve cone or dish.
