Celebrate National Dessert Day 2023 in Hershey, PA

The Sweetest Restaurants to Visit on October 14, 2023

The best way to celebrate a holiday like National Dessert Day is by indulging in delicious treats in The Sweetest Place On Earth! Hershey, Pa., is the "town built on chocolate" and has a sweet history, which makes it the perfect location for visitors to taste all kinds of sweet treats. Between our restaurants around town and Hersheypark, you're sure to find a treat to please your palate on National Dessert Day - Oct. 14, 2023.

The Hotel Hershey

There is no shortage of dessert options at the restaurants at The Hotel Hershey.  At Harvest, the resort's farm-to-table restaurant, indulge in new seasonal dessert offerings like the Salted Caramel & Chocolate Torte, Warm Apple Streusel Cake or Carrot Cookie & Cream Jar.

At Trevi 5, a modern Italian restaurant, you'll find a contemporary twist on Italian desserts, including a Cannoli Flight, Blood Orange Hazelnut Cheesecake, Amaretto Cherry Cake and, of course, classic Italian Gelato.

Or, head to The Circular, the Hotel's flagship restaurant, to indulge in sweet dishes like the Chocolate Souffle or Textures of Chocolate for Two, featuring a chocolate praline torte, salted caramel chocolate mousse and a whipped white and milk chocolate cremeux.

Sweet seasonal treats can also be found at Chef's Market, like a Halloween-themed Fudge Brownie or S'mores Pie. And, if you like your sweets with a bite, try a Hershey's Signature Chocolate Martini at Iberian Lounge.

Hershey Lodge

Hershey Lodge recently rolled out their fall menus, which means new seasonal sweets are now available for you to enjoy on National Dessert Day! Visit Revelry Chophouse, Bar + Patio and try their Bourbon Pecan Pie or a Warm Apple Crisp after dinner. Or, make your way to The Bears' Den for a Maple Waffle Sundae or S'mores Cheesecake.

STACKS, the newest restaurant at Hershey Lodge, offers a unique breakfast and lunch menu stacked high with flavor. But, believe us, some of these menu items could be desserts, too. Visit this new eatery from 7 a.m. - 2 p.m. daily for Cinnamon Croissant Beignets, Stacks of Donuts or Pancakes, French Toast or Waffles with a S'mores topping.

For a quick grab-and-go dessert, stop by Cocoa Beanery for a Dracula Milkshake or Dirt Sundae.

Chocolate lovers should visit Fire & Grain for dessert items such as the Skillet S'mores Fondue, Double Chocolate Brownie Sundae or a Warm Chocolate Chip Almond Cookie Sundae. For those 21 and older, save room for a dessert cocktail after dinner such as the Chocolate Manhattan or Pumpkin Pie Martini.

The Chocolatier Restaurant, Bar + Patio

The Chocolatier, located in Hershey's Chocolatetown, is overflowing with delicious dessert offerings everyone will love! New sweet items this fall include a Black Widow cookies n cream milkshake and apple pie. Other signature desserts still available include a Hershey's chocolate milkshake, Reese's peanut butter milkshake, s'mores milkshake, chocolate fun-due, The Chocolatier cake and more. The Chocolatier is open daily for guests and reservations can be made online.

Guests visiting during Hersheypark Halloween can stop into Spirit's Rooftop Bar at The Chocolatier and indulge in eerie drinks, apps and desserts. Two sweet treats available to Spirit's guests are the Black Widow milkshake and the Bleeding Heart chocolate cake.

Looking for more options? Milton's Ice Cream Parlor and The Sweeterie are also open daily and located inside Hersheypark Supply Co. Here, visitors can grab a cup or cone of ice cream or a specialty treat to celebrate the fall season.
