Be ‘In the Know’ for the Upcoming Hershey Half Marathon

The 8th annual Hershey Half Marathon is this Sunday, October 15, 2017. With all the excitement, we wanted to share the six of the most popular questions surrounding the race.

When is packet pick-up?
Registration packets can be picked up on Saturday from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m., and on Sunday morning starting at 6 a.m. until the race begins at 7:30 a.m.. Packets are located in Hersheypark Stadium under the grandstands.

Can I still register my kids for the Kids Fun Run?
Yes, if you are a Hershey Half Marathon runner you can register your children, 2-13 years of age for the Fun Run.

What charity benefits from Hershey Half Marathon?
Children’s Miracle Network at Penn State Children’s Hospital receives a portion of the proceeds from this event.

Is Hersheypark open that weekend?
Yes, it is opening weekend of Hersheypark In The Dark. Don’t forget your 2 tickets in your packet if you are a participant. Check www.Hersheypark.com for hours of operation and note the tickets expire Oct. 29.

Is there a pace requirement?
Yes, all runners must maintain a 14-minute per mile pace.
