Activities Galore at ZooAmerica in March

Fun and Educational Programming For Children of All Ages

Looking for something fun to do with your little ones in March? Head on over to ZooAmerica North American Wildlife Park for a day of learning and entertainment! Throughout the month, ZooAmerica is pleased to host an array of programs and events for families, especially those with preschool and kindergarten-aged children.

Mommy & Me Days

Every Monday in March from 10 a.m. - 1 p.m.

Held every Monday in March, Mommy & Me Days offer a sweet opportunity to spend quality time with your youngster. This program features hands-on activities, animal encounters, an animal artifacts touch table and coloring station. Standard admission rates apply, but entry is free for ZooAmerica annual pass holders and Hersheypark season pass holders. Moms, dads, siblings, grandparents and friends are all encouraged to attend!

Animal Tales

Every Tuesday in March at 9:30 a.m. or 1:30 p.m.

Do you have a preschooler or kindergartener who loves animals? Our Animal Tales program at ZooAmerica is the perfect Tuesday outing as we bid farewell to the winter season! Ideal for children ages 3-5, Animal Tales includes an animal-friendly story, craft activity, short walk around the zoo, snack and special meeting with different animals each week. The program is held on March 5, 12, 19 and 26. Parents or guardians may sign up their child for a single day session for $30.00 or all four sessions for $95.00 Current ZooAmerica annual pass holders and Hersheypark season pass holders will receive a special pass rate per session of $25.00 or $75.00 for all four sessions. The fee includes one child and one adult. An additional $10.00 fee is charged for siblings.

Teddy Bear and Friends Day

March 24 from 11 a.m. - 3 p.m.

A zoo fan favorite, kids 12 and under are invited to bring their favorite stuffed animal to ZooAmerica on March 24 for Teddy Bear and Friends Day! Attendees will enjoy lots of bear-related activities, including a Teddy Bear scavenger hunt and a parade led by Ranger Scratch and his friends! Throughout the day, children can also stop by the Teddy Bear Repair Clinic with their stuffed animal friend for a check-up by a real veterinarian or Zoo naturalist. The best part? All activities are included in the price of regular admission!
