59th Men's Invitational at Hershey Country Club
Hershey Country Club (HCC) hosted its largest golf event of the season last week: The 59th Annual Men’s Invitational! Despite three days of tough competition in the heat, this year’s tournament was truly special for our members, guests and staff. See highlights below!
The Club’s most anticipated event is a three-day tournament for members and their guest teammates to compete in five 9-hole matches. This year, HCC welcomed 180 players to the East and West fairways, a new record from previous competitions. Those players were divided into 15 flights, all named after profound contributors to the rich history of HCC.

Keeping up with tradition, players get their team photo which is then added to the scoreboard for the remainder of the tournament. We end the first night of competition with a Stag Night, where players meet the golf staff under the lights for a closest-to-the-pin competition. In between matches, players enjoy catered meals, golf club cleaning at the range, skill contests, tee gifts and a special dinner with their spouses.
The last day of competition ends with a shootout with all flight winners competing in a three-round shootout, ending on Hole 16 East to determine the overall championship winners. After three long days, a heat wave and two rain delays, our champions were crowned. Congratulations to Gari Gespari and Ryan Weaber for taking home the Overall Championship title!
We share our sincere gratitude for our HCC team and their tireless efforts in both the planning and execution of the event. Next year promises to be an exceptional year as we will be celebrating our 60th Men’s Invitational at the Club!
