5 Tips for Visiting Hershey Sweet Lights in 2021

Hershey Sweet Lights presented by T-Mobile drive-thru light experience is a holiday tradition for many families in the Mid-Atlantic region. It is located just minutes from Hersheypark at 1183 Sandbeach Road, Hershey, PA 17033. Guests can enjoy 600 illuminated, animated displays created from about 2 million LED lights for guests to see from the comfort of a car.

If you're planning a visit to Hershey Sweet Lights this holiday season, here are 5 tips to ensure a sweet experience.

1. Buy online in advance and save.

Hershey Sweet Lights presented by T-Mobile is a separate admission experience from Hersheypark. Entry is per car, not per person. Online pricing starts at $22.15 and varies depending on the date of the visit. Please visit Hersheypark.com and select the date you wish to visit to see ticket pricing. 

Guests are strongly encouraged to buy online in advance for significant savings. Online tickets are available for purchase through 5 p.m. on the day of the visit. Any ticket purchased after 5 p.m. for that day will be at gate rate and only available for purchase at the Hershey Sweet Lights entrance booth. Bus and Minibus must be purchased through the Group Sales team. 

2. Plan a visit during the week.

Hershey Sweet Lights presented by T-Mobile is open nightly through Jan. 2, 2022; hours vary. Weekend evenings and holidays tend to be the most popular. If you're looking for a less busy time to visit, we recommend Monday-Thursday. Also, consider arriving as close to 5 p.m. as possible to avoid long lines.

3. Listen to holiday tunes.

There's nothing sweeter than listening to holiday music when looking at the lights. Tune in to WARM 103.3 or your favorite holiday music as you drive through!

4. Pack some snacks.

Some of our loyal guests have suggested bringing snacks like bags of popcorn, Christmas cookies or hot chocolate along for the ride.

Guests who visit on Saturdays and Sundays through Dec. 31, 2021, will receive chocolate bars at the entrance courtesy of T-Mobile. There is a barcode on the wrapper to enter to win $100 until Dec. 31, 2021.

5. Get a free Hershey Sweet Lights ticket.

All Full and King Size Season Pass Holders who renewed for 2022, purchased new for 2022 or purchased a 2022 Season Pass Plus will be eligible to download one complimentary ticket for Hershey Sweet Lights presented by T-Mobile through the Season Pass portal. These tickets must be downloaded in advance of their visit. Pass Holders will select a specific date for their visit and receive a dated comp ticket valid for that specific date only.

To gain access to Hershey Sweet Lights presented by T-Mobile, Pass Holders will have their comp ticket scanned while also presenting their 2022 Season Pass to the booth attendant.
