5 Post-Holiday Relaxation Ideas in Hershey, PA

The holiday season can be stressful—buying presents, hosting parties, baking cookies, sitting in traffic, traveling, etc. To combat holiday stress, we’ve come up with five ways to relax in Hershey, PA after the holiday season.

1. A Trip To The Spa At The Hotel Hershey:

Nothing says relaxation like a trip to The Spa At The Hotel Hershey. Indulge in one of our seasonal peppermint treatments—the Peppermint Hot Chocolate Immersion or Peppermint Mocha Mani & Pedi—or book one of our signature chocolate treatments—such as the Whipped Cocoa Bath or Chocolate Sugar Scrub—for a decadent experience.

If you don’t have time to visit the Chocolate Spa, be sure to order items from our new signature line so that you can recreate the relaxing experience at home. The line features all-natural ingredients and includes the Chocolate, Cuban, and Noche Azul collections. To purchase the signature products, please call 717-520-5888.

2. Visit The Animals At ZooAmerica:

Here’s a unique relaxation idea—vist ZooAmerica! Not only does the zoo provide a serene atmosphere with its many trees, but it also gives you the opportunity to spend time and relax with animals through the Early Bird and After-Hours Tours. The Early Bird Tour is offered Tuesdays, Fridays, and Sundays from 8:00 – 10:00 AM and allows you to observe animals as they start their day, get an up close look at various species, and feed the animals. The After-Hours Tours are held Wednesday and Saturday evenings (times vary with ZooAmerica’s closing times) and give you the opportunity to receive a behind-the-scenes personal tour through the zoo where you will feed, touch, and hold various animals.

If you’re looking to visit the zoo during the day, don’t forget that it only costs $5.50 to enter ZooAmerica every Friday through March 18, 2016!

3. Jazz in the Iberian Lounge:

The Iberian Lounge at The Hotel Hershey is the perfect spot to relax after the busy holiday season. You can enjoy a signature cocktail and listen to the soothing sounds of live jazz by the fireplace.

Live jazz bands perform select Fridays and Saturdays from 8:00—11:00PM. Visit http://www.thehotelhershey.com/dining/iberian-lounge.php to see the entertainment schedule.

4. Hershey’s Chocolate World:

Hershey’s Chocolate World is a “must” during any visit to Hershey, PA, especially when trying to relax after the stressful holiday season. Sit back, relax, and catch The 4D Chocolate Mystery, an interactive show featuring special effects. Then, be sure to indulge in the new Chocolate Tasting Experience, a sensory lesson in the art of chocolate tasting.

5. Sip Hot Cocoa by the Hershey Lodge Fireplace:

Looking for a relaxation idea that will warm you up on a chilly day? Grab a hot cocoa or specialty drink from The Cocoa Beanery at Hershey Lodge and sit by one of the two fireplaces in the lobby. Prop your feet up and enjoy the toasty fire and faint chocolate scents coming from the lobby.
