Love is in the air! This year, Valentine's Day kicks off the start to the long Presidents Day weekend, and there is no sweeter place to celebrate than Hershey, Pa. Whether you’re looking for things to do with your Galentines, kids or that special someone, here are our top picks of things to do across Hershey The Sweetest Place On Earth over the extended holiday weekend.

Indulge in Decadent Dining Offerings

Taste the many flavors of Hershey, Pa., with a visit to one of our deliciously unique and award-winning restaurants! Dining locations include everything from family-friendly bites to late-night cocktails, four-star cuisine and everything in between. Reservations are available at select restaurants and are highly encouraged. 

An exclusive Valentine's Day weekend menu special will be offered at The Chocolatier Restaurant, Bar + Patio over the long weekend, from Feb. 14-17. Foodies can look forward to everything from a Surf & Turf entrée to new martini offerings like the Raspberry Cheesecake, Banana Cream Pie and Chocolate Covered Strawberry Martinis.

Satisfy Your Sweet Tooth at The Sweeterie

Bring home a sweet gift they can't resist from The Sweeterie Confectionery Kitchen in Hershey's Chocolatetown region at Hersheypark! Throughout the entire month of February, specialty Valentine-themed treats will be available for purchase in-store or online. From mouth-watering cupcakes to chocolatey-dipped strawberries and more, you don't want to miss out on these exclusive dessert offerings. 

Please note that there is a 24-hour turnaround time for online orders, to be picked up during operating hours. 

The Sweeterie is open daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weekdays and 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on weekends. Complimentary parking is available in the Season Pass Holder lot while Hersheypark is closed.

Visit Furry Friends at ZooAmerica

Bring the animal lover in your life to visit ZooAmerica North American Wildlife Park. February is a great time to visit this 11-acre zoo as there are often fewer crowds, and the outdoor animals are more active. Take a stroll through the five different animal regions and see species such as gray wolves, river otters, Canada lynx, an alligator and more. 

As a special treat, guests can watch the zoo naturalists give Valentine-themed treats to mountain lions, bobcats and deer on Feb. 8 and wolves, the ocelot and otters on Feb. 15 between 1-1:30 p.m.

Flutter Your Way through the Butterfly Atrium at Hershey  Gardens

Overlooking the town of Hershey, the 23-acre Hershey Gardens brings guests a breathtaking stroll through an assortment of flowers and shrubs, a stately collection of rare trees, brilliant seasonal displays and themed gardens.

Included with admission, you can walk among hundreds of butterflies from around the world in the Butterfly Atrium. One of only 25 indoor, tropical butterfly atriums in the country, the Butterfly Atrium is home to dozens of rare butterflies from South and Central America, Africa and Asia. The tropical setting boasts colorful plants and a soothing water feature that create a truly spectacular environment, especially during the season of love. 

Hershey Gardens is open daily in February from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. with the last admission for the Butterfly Atrium being 15 minutes prior to closing time.

Savor in Treats at Hershey's Chocolate World

There’s nothing sweeter this Valentine's Day than enjoying new chocolatey treats you'll be sure to love at Hershey’s Chocolate World Attraction. Guests can discover a new way to savor their favorite Hershey's Chocolates with plenty of seasonal choices to choose from, like the Hershey's Kisses Chocolate Strawberry Milkshake, Reese's Red Velvet Cheesecake, Hershey's Chocolate-Covered Strawberries and more. Those visiting over the long weekend can also pay a visit to Snoopy, with meet and greets on Friday, Feb. 14 and Saturday, Feb. 15.

Other experiences include a free chocolate tour ride to see how cocoa beans become world-famous Hershey’s Chocolate and shopping for endless amounts of chocolate, including limited-edition treats. Tickets may be purchased for optional chocolate-enhanced experiences, including Create Your Own Candy Bar and Reese’s Stuff Your Cup.

Experience Chocolate Tastings and Classes At The Hershey Story  Museum

What's Valentine's Day without some chocolate tasting? Hone your skills as a cocoa connoisseur with two interactive chocolate experiences at The Hershey Story Museum. Enjoy a flight of warm drinking chocolates when you book a Chocolate Tasting and experience a taste of chocolates from all over the world. Or, roll up your sleeves and make Valentine’s Day-themed chocolate when you sign up for a class in the Chocolate Lab. Tastings and Chocolate Lab classes are available throughout the week of Valentine’s Day and are the perfect way to immerse yourself in the sweet world that inspired Milton Hershey.

Chocolate lovers can also sign up for the museum’s Truffles for Couples classes on Feb. 14 and 15. You and your favorite Valentine will have the chance to hand-roll traditional dark chocolate ganache, coat them in your choice of milk or white chocolate, and then finish with a sweet array of toppings. Truffles are packaged in a charming box and each guest will receive a personalized milk chocolate bar and a long-stemmed rose to take home.

Two sessions, most suitable for adults, will be offered at 5:45 p.m. and 7:45 p.m. on Friday and Saturday nights. Tickets must be purchased online in advance. Please note that space is limited to 24 participants per session.
