2023 Slam Dunk Champion Mac McClung Visits Hersheypark
McClung welcomed fans with photos, STARRY swag and a ride on Wildcat’s Revenge
Basketball fans enjoyed a unique experience at Hersheypark amusement park today when Mac McClung made a public appearance at a special pop-up basketball court in partnership with STARRY®, the crisp, clear lemon lime flavored soda and the official soft drink of the NBA. The 2023 NBA All-Star Slam Dunk Contest winner shot around on the STARRY court in Hershey's Chocolatetown, signed items for fans and gave out STARRY product throughout the day.
Aspiring basketball stars could take 3-point shots on the court all day as part of a first-of-its-kind event with STARRY. McClung also took 10 sweepstakes winners on Wildcat’s Revenge to fly-high with the dunk king himself. Wildcat’s Revenge is the first hybrid coaster at Hersheypark and the only one of its kind in Pennsylvania.
