2023 is the Year to Visit Hersheypark Amusement Park

What’s New in the Place Where Fun Meets Chocolate

Looking for a summer vacation with thrills, splashes, chocolate and plenty of happy memories? Hersheypark amusement park in Hershey, Pa., should absolutely be at the top of your bucket list in 2023.

The largest amusement park in Pennsylvania is gearing up for a blockbuster summer with the opening of Wildcat’s Revenge, an all-new hybrid coaster that adds a new steel track with unique elements to the wooden framework for a one-of-a-kind thrilling ride experience found only at Hersheypark. This addition to an already iconic coaster lineup means Hersheypark has the most coasters in the Northeast.

Beyond ultimate thrills, Hersheypark offers experiences for everyone in the family - and different ticket options for maximum value depending on where you live.

Look at what’s new this summer and how to get the most value out of your visit.

First Hybrid Coaster in Pennsylvania

Coaster fans are in for a real treat this summer with the debut of the first hybrid from Rocky Mountain Construction in Pennsylvania with Wildcat’s Revenge. The 15th coaster at Hersheypark has consistently been included in the top five roller coasters opening worldwide in 2023.

The 2-minute and 36-second experience begins as riders climb a 140-foot hill, plunge into an 82-degree drop and hit a maximum speed of 62 miles per hour along 3,510 feet of red track on a black steel and wood structure. The pursuit continues as riders stalk their prey through four inversions, including the World’s Largest Underflip, an inversion that begins with an upward climb, followed by a counterclockwise 270° roll and a dive down towards the side.

Only-in-Hershey Experiences at Hersheypark

In addition to Wildcat’s Revenge, tickets to Hersheypark include three parks in one, with more than 70 family-friendly and thrill attractions thoughtfully placed together, so families never have to split up to enjoy the fun at every level. The Boardwalk At Hersheypark water park with 16 water attractions is also included with a ticket. It is located inside Hersheypark and open from Memorial Day through Labor Day. Additionally, guests can see North American animals at ZooAmerica by entering the Zoo from the bridge inside Hersheypark during posted Park hours.

Along with three parks in one included with a ticket for added value, Hersheypark is the only amusement park in the world focused on fun and chocolate, as evidenced by the life-size, chocolate-inspired characters throughout the Park, rides inspired by iconic Hershey Company brands, incredible chocolate treats and even ride height categories as candy brands.
