Know Before You Go: Cashless Frequently Asked Questions
In an effort to create more convenient dining, retail and gaming experiences for our guests, Hersheypark is now cashless.
We have plenty of payment options available for our guests. All major debit and credit cards, Hersheypark gift cards, Apple Pay, Samsung Pay, and Google Pay will be accepted. If you only have cash at the time of your Park visit, please visit one of our five Cash-To-Card kiosks, located throughout the Park. Please note strolling food vendors like cotton candy or lemonade are currently cash only. For games, you will need to purchase a separate Gaming Card, which you can load via cashless payment at our in-park Gaming Card kiosks.

What type of payments will Hersheypark accept?
Hersheypark accepts all major credit cards, debit cards and Hersheypark gift cards, as well as Apple Pay, Samsung Pay and Google Pay. For guests who may not have credit or debit cards, they can convert cash to prepaid debit cards at the Cash-to-Card kiosks stationed around the park. Please check the app for locations. For games, you will need to purchase a separate Gaming Card at gaming locations, which you can load via cashless payment.
Why are you going cashless?
Cashless transactions are faster, safer and more secure. Guests can spend less time waiting in the checkout on change and more time hitting up their favorite rides or other attractions.
What if I don’t have a credit card?
For guests who may not have credit or debit cards, they can convert cash to prepaid debit cards at the Cash-to-Card kiosks stationed around the park. In place of cash, consider purchasing an e-gift card before your Park visit.
My child is coming without me. What do you recommend?
In place of cash, consider purchasing an e-gift card before your Park visit. We also offer single use meal deal valid at 12 locations with an entrée, side and drink.

Cash-to-Card Kiosk-Specific Questions
How do the kiosks work?
A guest will insert cash into a Cash-to-Card kiosk. It will dispense a plastic prepaid Visa Credit Card that can be used within Hersheypark.
Where are the kiosks located?
Five Cash-to-Card kiosks are centrally located throughout Hersheypark.

Is there a fee to use the cash to card kiosk?
No, there are no fees to convert cash to a prepaid card at a Cash-to-Card kiosk inside Hersheypark. There are also no fees to use the prepaid card inside or outside of Hersheypark.
Are there monthly fees?
No monthly fees will apply as long as the prepaid card is used regularly. However, after 92 consecutive days of no transaction activity, a $3.95 fee will be charged each month.
How much cash can I load onto a card?
You can load up to $500 onto a single prepaid Visa card.
Can I reload a card?
Prepaid cards are not reloadable.
Where can I use the prepaid card?
Prepaid cards can be used anywhere Visa is accepted.
Can I check my balance?
The balance on the prepaid card can be checked at a Cash-to-Card kiosk or by calling the number found on the back of the card.
What if I don’t use all of it during my visit?
Remaining funds on the prepaid card can be used anywhere Visa is accepted.
Games
How do I play games now that you’re cashless?
To enjoy games across Hersheypark, please purchase a separate Gaming Card which you can load via cashless payment at our in-park Gaming Card kiosks (Hersheypark gift cards are not accepted as payment). Great news - guests receive bonus cash ($5 on $20, $15 for $50, $25 for $75 and $35 for $100) on the card and the value does not expire.

Is there a discount for Season Pass Holders?
For the 2022 season, King and Full Size Season Pass Holders will also receive a 15% discount at redemption across all games, including arcades and skill games, when they purchase and activate a gaming card PLUS BONUS CASH!
How do I get my Season Pass discount?
Starting April 2, Season Pass Holders will need to speak with a team member at select Games locations or visit Guest Services to complete a one-time activation on their game card to receive the 15% discount across all games.
