Hersheypark

1. Visit Hersheypark For The Last Summer Weekend

Saturday, Sept. 6 and Sunday, Sept. 7

Hersheypark is open Saturday, Sept. 6 from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday, Sept. 7 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. for guests to celebrate a sweet end to summer with coaster rides, Hershey Characters and King Size Shakes. Tickets include access to more than 50 rides weather and maintenance permitting.

2. Hersheypark Halloween and Dark Nights Presented by Reese's and Kit Kat® Begins

Open Weekends Starting Friday, Sept. 12

Hersheypark Halloween and Dark Nights presented by Reese's and Kit Kat® return for eight weekends starting Friday, Sept. 12! For nearly 25 days, including Halloween night, guests can experience five haunted houses, including the all-new Kill ‘N Fill Garage haunted house, four scare zones with the new Path of Shadows: Coven’s Curse scare zone, 50 attractions including the new Shaq-A-Licious Laff Trakk and dark coaster rides, Hershey’s Trick-or-Treat Trail and more - all included with a Hersheypark Halloween ticket. 

The seasonal event will also feature exclusive culinary creations, including the return of the popular Hersheypark Halloween Tasting Pass and the Avenue Of The Afterlife path with themed food and drink offerings and live entertainment.

3. Visit Spirit’s Rooftop Bar at The Chocolatier

Open Weekends Starting Friday, Sept. 12

Shift gears for a ghastly good time with spirits both real and imagined at Spirit’s Rooftop Bar on The Chocolatier patio. Enjoy limited time only spine-chilling cocktails like our fuel pump served “Transmission Fluid” and wicked-good eats like our smoky dusted “Spare Tires” onion rings. It’s your pit stop to fuel up before venturing back down to face the terrors lurking in the shadows of Dark Nights.

4. Hardy: Jim Bob World Tour at Hersheypark Stadium

Saturday, Sept. 6 at 6:15 p.m.

Country rock superstar HARDY will embark on the “JIM BOB World Tour” in 2025, headlining arenas and amphitheaters across the U.S. with special guests Koe Wetzel, Stephen Wilson Jr. and Sikarus.

5. Falling In Reverse at Hersheypark Stadium

Sunday, Sept. 7 at 6:15 p.m.

American rock band Falling In Reverse are hitting the road for their North American “God Is A Weapon Tour.” Produced by Live Nation, the tour will also feature performances from Slaughter to Prevail, Hollywood Undead and Sleep Theory.

6. Hozier at Hersheypark Stadium

Friday, Sept. 19 at 6:55 p.m.

Building on the unprecedented success of his “Unreal Unearth Tour” in 2023 and 2024, Hozier announced an extended run of 2025 dates across North America, including a stop at Hersheypark Stadium. This exciting new leg of the tour will see the acclaimed singer-songwriter touring stadiums for the first time, along with his return to amphitheaters and festivals across the country.

7. Slayer at Hersheypark Stadium  

Saturday, Sept. 20 at 4 p.m.

Slayer announced a one-night-only performance at Hersheypark Stadium. The show in Hershey marks the band’s only East Coast performance in 2025.

8. Washington Capitals Vs. Philadelphia Flyers at GIANT Center

Thursday, Sept. 25 at 7 p.m.

The Hershey Bears and the club’s National Hockey League affiliate, the Washington Capitals, are proud to announce that NHL preseason action is coming to Hershey. The Capitals will take the ice in Chocolatetown to battle the Philadelphia Flyers at GIANT Center.

9. Twenty-One Pilots at Hersheypark Stadium

Saturday, Sept. 27 at 8 p.m.

GRAMMY-winning rock sensation Twenty One Pilots announced their North American headline tour, THE CLANCY TOUR: BREACH 2025, will visit Hersheypark Stadium. THE CLANCY TOUR: BREACH 2025 begins less than 6 months after the band’s massive “Clancy World Tour” played to over 1.1 million fans in stadiums and arenas across the globe.

10. Adam Sandler at GIANT Center

Sunday, Sept. 28 at 7:30 p.m.

Following successful sold-out performances in 2022 and 2023, critically acclaimed comedian Adam Sandler announced his “You’re My Best Friend” tour across North America, including a show at GIANT Center.

11. Experience the Wildlife of North America at ZooAmerica

Open Daily from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Explore ZooAmerica North American Wildlife Park on select dates this month and see various animals representing species from five regions of the North American continent. Animal lovers can sweeten a zoo visit by going behind the scenes during brand-new Premium Animal Feedings with river otters, black bears or gray wolves. The 30-minute encounters include the opportunity to feed the animals while learning all about their natural history and even observing unique behaviors. All participants must pre-register and pre-pay 48 hours in advance.

13. Bug-O-Rama at Hershey Gardens

Sunday, Sept. 7 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Hershey Gardens’ annual Bug-O-Rama introduces families to the wonderful world of bugs. The event features an array of insects from around the globe, including tarantulas, unique mantises, scorpions, jungle nymphs, cockroaches, walking sticks and more.

Special guests include Ryan “The Bug Man” with a collection of live and preserved insects and arachnids, ZooAmerica, Penn State Entomological Outreach, PA Woodmobile, Keys to Bees and more. Youngsters can participate in a variety of hands-on activities and crafts. Sarah’s Creamery will be selling treats, and face painting is offered for an additional charge. Tickets to the event are included in general admission.

14. Trick-Or-Treat Trail at Hershey's Chocolate World

Weekends Starting Friday, Sept. 12

Collect candy at several sweet stops and stock up on your favorite Halloween treats in the World's Largest Hershey's Store, with more stops in Hersheypark! Candy is free for ages 12 and under.

15. Intro to Forest Bathing at Hershey Gardens

Saturday, Sept. 27 from 9:15 a.m. to 11:15 a.m.

Forest bathing is a guided experience that invites participants to slow down, engage their senses and cultivate a deeper connection with the natural world. Inspired by the Japanese practice of Shinrin-Yoku, forest bathing has been shown to reduce stress, boost immune function and enhance overall well-being. Classes are led by the Association of Nature and Forest Therapy (ANFT) Forest Therapy Guide Lauren Berg. Tickets are $35 per person, online registration required.

16. Explore Founders Hall Visitors Center at Milton Hershey School

Open Monday - Saturday; 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Milton Hershey School (MHS) Founders Hall Visitors Center is open for visitors to explore more than 110 years of MHS history. The free tour explores the story of the School's past, present, and future. It is located at 801 Spartan Lane, Hershey, PA 17003, near the intersection of Meadow Ln. and East Governor Rd. (Rte. 322).
