13.1 Miles of Sweet Memories at the Hershey Half Marathon

Although our nearly 4,000 runners encountered rain on Sunday, October 20, 2019, there were plenty of smiles and proud moments before, during and after the 10th Annual Hershey Half Marathon, and we have the photos to prove it! A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for the event and to the countless volunteers and spectators that carried everyone across the finish line!

The Hershey Half Marathon is more than just a race. It's become a tradition for many runners and volunteers alike. More importantly, each step of the race gives back to kids, and their families, impacted by childhood illnesses. A portion of the race proceeds goes to Children's Miracle Network at Penn State Children's Hospital (CMN). Our partner for 10 years, an estimated $1 million has been donated to CMN helping kids like Sam, the 2009 and 2019 Miracle Kid/Teen, who is thriving today because of life-saving care he received at Penn State Children's Hospital. 

The race would not happen without the hundreds of volunteers who stuff packets, hand out water, answer questions and cheer on our race participants. Their assistance is invaluable. Thank you to the hundreds of helpers who got up early and waited in the rain to assist our runners! This year, we had helpers from PA Family Support Alliance, Four Diamonds, Aaron's Acres, Ronald McDonald House Charities and, of course, CMN We appreciate everyone who assisted us - including our team members from Hershey Entertainment & Resorts! 

Let's talk about this year's medal! We found many photos where the Kiss medal was the star of the show. Congratulations on earning this impressive accolade! We appreciate you showing it off so proudly.
