11 Tips for Attending a 2026 Concert at Hersheypark Stadium
Know Before You Go: Venue Policies, FAQs and Recommendations
There is nothing like seeing a show under the stars at Hersheypark Stadium presented by Penn State Health!
To prepare for those warm summer nights under the lights in Hershey, Pennsylvania, we wanted to share a few tips to help make your upcoming show experience as enjoyable as possible. Check out the list below and join us for an incredible lineup of concerts in The Sweetest Place On Earth.
1. CARRY ONLY THE ESSENTIALS
For guest safety, Hersheypark Stadium will ONLY allow small clutches, wristlets or fanny packs no larger than 5"x8"x1". Items that exceed this size limit will not be permitted inside the venue, including backpacks, purses, drawstring bags, totes, suitcases, etc.
Exceptions will be made for guests who require a medical equipment bag and/or a parenting bag. These bags must be smaller than 14”x14”x6” and must go through a metal detection screening upon entry.
All items are subject to search and measurement. Upon arriving at the venue, guests will be required to enter through walk-through security scanners.
Tip: Didn't bring a bag? Keep your eyes out for a “no bag” express lane for a more streamlined entry into the venue.
2. BRING ALONG A DEBIT OR CREDIT CARD FOR PURCHASES
Hersheypark Stadium is a cashless venue. All major debit and credit cards will be accepted. If you forget your card, don’t worry! For no additional fee, you can convert cash to a prepaid debit card at Cash-to-Card kiosk underneath the East and West grandstands. Other nearby properties, such as Hersheypark Supply Co., also have Cash-to-Card kiosks for guest usage.
3. PARK FOR FREE
The cost of parking is included in the price of your concert ticket for shows at Hersheypark Stadium. Just be sure to follow the “Concert Parking” or “Event Parking” electronic boards and road signage on Hersheypark Drive when heading to park. Concert parking is located in the field parking areas across Hersheypark Drive. Guests using the field parking areas should follow posted walkway signage and the directions of parking staff to cross Hersheypark Drive to reach Hersheypark Stadium. Additional parking information is available online. Uber, Lyft, taxis, and other rideshare services serving Hersheypark Stadium guests must use a designated Hersheypark parking location. Rideshare drivers should follow signage on Chocolate World Way.
If you plan to tailgate, please review our tailgating policies beforehand.
Please note, there will be a parking charge for the America250PA Commonwealth Concert Series event on June 13. Guests are encouraged to pre-purchase online via Ticketmaster to save.
The field parking areas may not be open for every event. We encourage guests to follow electronic board signage and the direction of parking staff upon reaching Hersheypark Drive.
4. PLAN ACCORDINGLY & ARRIVE EARLY
Due to the potential of Hersheypark amusement park and concert attendee traffic, plan to arrive early for the show. We recommend allowing extra time to park, walk to the venue and get through the security line. Doors open approximately 90 minutes before showtime.
In the event of inclement weather, please stay tuned to our Hersheypark Stadium social media channels for updates. Please note that ponchos are permitted, but umbrellas will not be allowed inside the venue.
5. STOP BY THE COURTYARD FOR FOOD, MERCH AND MORE
If you're heading to the venue a bit early or find time to explore, don't forget to stop by The Courtyard presented by HERSHEY'S S'mores! Located at the front entrance of Hersheypark Stadium next to the box office, guests can indulge in delicious eats from various food trucks and purchase artist merchandise. For those 21+, there will also be select alcohol offerings throughout the evening. The Courtyard opens 30 minutes prior to general doors for each show and is slated to stay open throughout most of the evening.
6. UPGRADE YOUR EXPERIENCE
New for 2026, guests can level up their night under the stars with access to one of our two Premium Decks in addition to a ticket to an upcoming show when they purchase a Signature Experience Concert Bundle! Soak up the pre-show atmosphere with benefits including:

7. SPECIAL SIPS AT THE CHOCOLATIER
Fuel up before your night of jamming out at The Chocolatier Restaurant, Bar + Patio, located just steps away from the Hersheypark Stadium front entrance! Guests attending any show this summer can look forward to themed cocktails and beverages to celebrate the artists performing that night, available only on that day. The specialty beverages are availble anywhere you sit in the restaurant, so be sure to stop in for a visit once you're on complex!
8. EXPLORE HERSHEYPARK DURING THE DAY
One of the most unique experiences that Hersheypark Stadium offers is the ability to watch coasters fly by as you rock out at a show! The venue is conveniently located next to Hersheypark amusement park, which is home to more than 70 attractions, including the most coasters in the Northeast and a full water park (open Memorial Day through Labor Day), weather permitting. Guests attending a 2026 concert can enjoy special pricing to Hersheypark, starting at just $34.99.
9. DOWNLOAD YOUR MOBILE TICKET TO YOUR DEVICE
As cellular service can become weak or slow on show days, we recommend downloading your digital ticket to your Apple Wallet or mobile device prior to arriving at the Stadium. Photo screenshots of a ticket will NOT be accepted for entry.
As a reminder, our venue's only authorized ticket outlets are our box offices and Ticketmaster. We encourage you to only purchase from either of these outlets.
10. DON'T FORGET TO HYDRATE
Summer days in Hershey can get pretty warm, so staying hydrated before and during the show is essential. Each guest can bring one sealed bottle of water up to 32 oz. into the venue. No reusable or open bottles will be allowed inside. Any additional exceptions will be made for guests with medical restrictions/conditions and baby bottles.
11. EXTEND YOUR STAY AT THE SWEETEST PLACE ON EARTH

Guests will be transported to the exclusive drop-off location at Hersheypark, adjacent to the Stadium. Shuttles will run until one hour after concerts at Hersheypark Stadium have concluded.
