ZooAmerica to Host Teddy Bear and Friends Day

Young Guests Can Stop by the Teddy Bear Repair Clinic, Participate in a Teddy Bear Parade, and More!

Calling all teddy bear lovers! Grab your favorite teddy bear or other stuffed animal and head on over to ZooAmerica North American Wildlife Park for Teddy Bear and Friends Day tomorrow, March 24, from 11 am - 3 pm.

The springtime event features an array of bear related activities geared toward kids 12 and under, including a Teddy Bear Repair Clinic where youngsters can take their stuffed animal friend for a check-up by a veterinarian or Zoo naturalist. If the stuffed animal is diagnosed with a loose nose or slight tear, fret not! Thread and Band-Aids will be readily available to fix any boo boos and give all stuffed animals a clean bill of health.

While at ZooAmerica, young guests can also observe an enrichment activity with the black bears at 1 pm; join the Teddy Bear parade led by Ranger Scratch and his friends at 1:15 pm; participate in a Teddy Bear scavenger hunt; and visit with Ranger Scratch, Coco the Bear and other friends.

Bear in mind that Teddy Bear and Friends Day will take place rain or shine. All activities are included in regular admission, which is $12.50 for guests ages 9 to 54 and $10.50 for guests ages 3 to 8 and ages 55 and older. Children 2 and younger (and stuffed animals) are free!

We hope you have a "beary" good time!
