The Summer Concert Series Starts Friday!

Great Shows to Visit Hersheypark Stadium

Who's ready for a summer of great music? We couldn’t be more excited to count down the days until the Summer Concert Series at Hersheypark Stadium begins. With an artist for every musical taste and age group, we’re thrilled to welcome a wide array of fans to the Stadium this summer on our brand-new stage. Before or after checking out a show, we’re inviting fans to visit Hersheypark at a discounted price with their event ticket stub - a win-win for the whole family!

To kick things off, Journey & Def Leppard will be rockin’ out and performing some classic rock hits. They’re stopping in Hershey on Friday, May 25 - the beginning of Memorial Day weekend. With songs that still bring crowds of people together, we can’t wait to sing along in May!

The next weekend, on June 2, Kendrick Lamar will be stopping by. “TDE: THE CHAMPIONSHIP TOUR” will not only feature Lamar, but also SZA, ScHoolboy Q, Jay Rock, Ab-Soul, SiR, Lance Skiiiwalker and more to be announced. Lamar’s 2017 critically-acclaimed album “DAMN” was at the top of the hip-hop charts, and nominated for seven Grammys.

After Kendrick, we welcome One Direction’s very own Harry Styles to the Stadium, on June 14. Since May 2017, Styles has been exploring his solo music career, and has released hits like “Sign of the Times” and “Kiwi”. On top of that, he made his acting debut in “Dunkirk” last year!

After a stellar act like Harry Styles, we’re excited to bring another huge name in the music world to the Stadium, Imagine Dragons! Their “Evolve World Tour” will stop in Hershey on June 16, and will feature special guest Grace VanderWaal, a 14 year-old star from “America’s Got Talent”. Imagine Dragons is currently a huge name for Alternative Rock fans, with hits like “Thunder,” “Radioactive” and “On Top of the World”.

Next up, Zac Brown Band will come to Hershey for their “Down the Rabbit Hole Live: Zac Brown Band 2018” tour, on June 22. Country hits like “My Old Man” define the band, and Zac Brown has become a multi-platinum Grammy Award-winning artist. This show is an absolute blast, and perfect for a warm summer night.

In July, we have some guaranteed crowd-pleasers. First, Maroon 5 will be coming to Hershey on their Red Pill Blues tour.  Their 6th studio album, Red Pill Blues, debuted on November 3, 2017, and followed a long line of hit albums.  To date, the universally renowned Los Angeles band have achieved three Grammy awards and become “the most successful group in the history of the Billboard Hot 100” with 12 Top 10 entries, sold over 20 million albums and 48 million singles worldwide.

After that, Janet Jackson: State of the World Tour will be coming to Hersheypark Stadium on July 20. Jackson's six Grammy wins shouldn't come as a surprise, considering she's sold over 160 million records worldwide! Pop culture will never be the same after Jackson's string of hits.

Next, "Adventures of Kesha and Macklemore" will arrive on July 21, which arrives at an incredible moment in both artists’ careers. Kesha’s recent No. 1 album “Rainbow” and two recent Grammy nominations will be complemented by Macklemore’s recent hip-hop release “Glorious,” which was Platinum-certified, and the video released with it was viewed more than 95 million times.

On the opposite end of the musical genre spectrum, on July 28, Lynyrd Skynyrd will be at the Stadium, ready to perform “Freebird” and some classic Southern Rock staples. “The Last of the Street Survivors Farewell Tour” will also have Hank Williams Jr., Blackberry Smoke, and Tom Hambridge joining the stage.

August is set to bring in acts for the kids and for the adults. First, Show of the Summer will be at the Stadium on August 4, and headliners include Why Don’t We, Troye Sivan, Maggie Lindemann, Ayo and Teo, HRVY, Carlie Hanson, and more. Hersheypark Stadium will be alive with singing, dancing, and excitement to compliment the best of today’s pop music.

On August 10, Counting Crows will celebrate 25 years of creating music with special guest LIVE in the Stadium. Known for unique and innovative concert experiences, the band’s rock hits have been beloved by many since 1993. With recent hit “Dislocation” grabbing a spot on Rolling Stone’s Top 50 Songs of 2014 list, the band has proved that they’re still around and better than ever.

The final three Summer Concert Series performances will take place in September. Kicking off the month will be Fall Out Boy’s “M A N I A Tour” with special guest Machine Gun Kelly, on September 1. Fall Out Boy’s multi-platinum selling, Grammy-nominated background has made them an iconic group since their inception, and their performance in Hershey is sure to be one to check out.

The following night, Pentatonix will be performing. Why not make a mini-vacation out of it and stay a little longer in Hershey at Hershey Lodge or The Hotel Hershey, and stay for both shows? The three-time Grammy Award-winning and multi-platinum selling band has sold almost 10 million albums internationally, and has performed for countless fans at sold-out shows all over the globe.

To conclude the summer, we’re bringing back the Outlaw Music Festival on September 8, with names on the list like Willie Nelson, Van Morrison, Tedeschi Trucks Band, Sturgill Simpson, Lukas Nelson & Promise of the Real, Particle Kid and more. The band of outlaws have been touring since 2017, and fans all over the country have raved about the unforgettable experience with artists who make the day a total blast.
