The Hotel Hershey Wine & Food Festival Returns September 14-16, 2018

The Hotel Hershey hosts its ninth annual Wine & Food Festival, September 14-16, 2018. New for this year is a wine tasting class, comparing the Napa and Sonoma varieties from California. A schedule of the weekend’s six events is below with something for everyone, from wine novice to wine connoisseur.
Friday, September 14
The Joy of Wine: a wine reception hosted by Ramon from Georges Duboeuf (France) followed by “Something to Wine About” comedy show by Laurie Forster, The Stand Up Sommelier
- Reception at 6:30 p.m., comedy show at 8 p.m.
- $96 per person
Saturday, September 15
Champagne Tasting Class: a guided tasting of four bubbly champagnes and local meat and cheeses
- 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m.
- $64 per person
NEW Wine Tasting Class: a guided tasting of California wines from the Napa and Sonoma regions
- 2:30-4:30 p.m.
- $54 per person
Ruca Malen Wine Dinner: meet and dine with a wine expert from Ruca Malen (Argentina) and mingle with other wine enthusiasts during a five-course meal
- Reception at 6:30 p.m., dinner at 7:30 p.m.
- $120 per person
Sunday, September 16
VIP Winemaker Breakfast: a breakfast buffet with a mimosa bar that features winemakers from the Grand Tasting (Grand Tasting registration and wristband pickup is also available during breakfast)
- 10 a.m.-noon
- $30 per person
Grand Tasting: stroll the beautiful Formal Gardens at The Hotel Hershey and enjoy live jazz entertainment, international and domestic wine stations, a selection of domestic breweries and culinary samplings from the award-winning chefs in Hershey, PA
- Noon-4 p.m.
- $72 per person; $20 per designated driver
Reservations are required for all events and can be made by calling 717-534-8800. Walk-up registration is available for the Grand Tasting on September 16.
