Presidents' Day weekend: things to do in Hershey, PA

Looking for something to do on this long weekend? Look no further....there's plenty of sweet things happening even during winter in Hershey The Sweetest Place On Earth! Grab your loved ones and choose from some of our ideas we've outlined below.

Visit ZooAmerica - discounted on Fridays!

Did you know winter is one of the best times to visit ZooAmerica North American Wildlife Park? Open year-round, the animals on exhibit outdoors are much more active and easier to see this time of year. Every Friday in February, enjoy discounted admission of $6.25 for Fantastic Fridays. And on Saturdays in February, mammal residents of the Zoo will receive chocolate-themed treats! This weekend, the Mountain Lions are featured.

Date night at Hershey Theatre

If you’re looking for a unique date night, the Off-Broadway hit comedy "Men Are From Mars – Women Are From Venus LIVE!" comes to Hershey Theatre on Feb. 16. This one-man fusion of theatre and stand-up is based on the New York Times best-selling book.

Experience Chocolate-Covered February

2019 marks 15 sweet years of Chocolate-Covered February! Our month-long, town-wide celebration of all things chocolate features more than 90 events. There is something for everyone this weekend, including chocolate-infused menu items, wine and chocolate pairing, dessert buffet, a fun chocolate parade, decadent spa treatments and more!

Experience the tropics, indoors

The indoor Butterfly Atrium at Hershey Gardens is the perfect way to keep warm. Always in a tropical setting, the Atrium is home to dozens of rare butterflies from South and Central America, Africa and Asia.

Learn about our founder

The Hershey Story Museum honors and preserves the life and legacy of Milton S. Hershey, the town he created and the lives he touched. Museum exhibits explore Mr. Hershey's early failures, how he successfully revolutionized the process of making milk chocolate, the "other" model town he built in Cuba and how he and his wife, Kitty, created Milton Hershey School. Today the School stands as the Hersheys' legacy and is the world's largest residential home and school for children in financial and social need.

While you're at The Hershey Story, grab tickets for interactive Chocolate Lab and Chocolate Tastings experiences.

Warm up in Chocolate World

There's always something to do inside at Hershey's Chocolate World Atttraction. Create Your Own Candy Bar, help solve the mystery at the 4D Chocolate Movie and become an expert at the Chocolate Tasting Experience. Don't forget about the FREE Hershey's Chocolate Tour
