The Hershey Bears to host Autism Acceptance Night, March 16

The Hershey Bears are committed to giving back to the community as a part of our Hershey Bears Cares initiative. On March 16, the Bears will hold Autism Acceptance Night at Giant Center when they play host to the Bridgeport Sound Tigers.

The Bears will be sporting custom, Autism Acceptance specialty jerseys during the game. The jerseys will be auctioned off post game with proceeds set to benefit the Vista School in Hershey and The Tommy Foundation.

The Hershey Bears released the Autism Acceptance jersey design on the team’s social media channels last week.

Corresponding with Autism Acceptance Night, the Bears hosted two teams in the American Special Hockey Association (ASHA) after practice March 12. Following the team’s practice, Hershey players Colby Williams, Connor Hobbs, Beck Malenstyn, Kris Bindulis and Hampus Gustafsson joined players of the Hershey Heroes and York Polar Bears on the ice.

This year marked the fourth annual skate between the Hershey Bears and ASHA.

Ticket information for Autism Acceptance Night, as well as all remaining home games on the Bears schedule, is available online at HersheyBears.com.
