Farmers Market in Hershey & Summer Concert Series is Back at The Cocoa Beanery

and The Beanery team is getting creative in the kitchen

Healthy menu items have always been a priority for the Cocoa Beanery on Research Boulevard. With items like avocado toast, health bars, Fly Fuel, and a variety of salads incorporating fresh seasonal produce, local joggers, bikers and daily patrons living a health conscious lifestyle have many options from which to choose.

This market season, the Beanery team is taking those options to another level, by using the produce from the market vendors themselves!

“We wanted to incorporate the farmers that are present at Market, to show guests just some of the things they can make at home with the fresh produce found here,” said General Manager of the Cocoa Beanery, Donna Fair.

Not to worry, you won’t go hungry on concert nights. The team will also be grilling from 5-8pm on concert nights. That means, every third Thursday of the month you’ll have a chance to try their signature market panini, as well as some of your favorite fruits, grilled. Yes! You read that right! They’ll be grilling up pineapple, watermelon and a few other favorites.

“By adding different spices to the fruits and putting them on the grill, we’re giving the guests a different way to experience the fruits they love with a little added kick,” said supervisor Michael Bradley.

On top of all that, during the first week of market Hershey High School students' and the Hershey Area Art Association will be showcasing their artwork inside the Cocoa Beanery as part of a Community Arts Festival.

The Farmers Market in Hershey & Summer Concert Series begins Thursday May 18 from 2:30-6 p.m. and continues every Thursday until early October, with live concerts occurring every third Thursday from 6-8 p.m.
