Designing a Huge Success: Vinnie Caroselli, Intern

This post originally appeared on MHSKids.org

As a junior at Milton Hershey School, Vinnie Caroselli is thinking of his future now. He’s thrilled to be spending his summer completing an internship with the creative team in the Communications Department at Hershey Entertainment & Resorts.

“I’m gaining knowledge to help me decide whether or not this is the career that I want to pursue in life,” Vinnie said.

As a graphic design intern, Vinnie is gaining more valuable skills with programs like Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator. He arrived at the internship proficient in all three with the help of his graphic communications courses at MHS. He’s already received several industry-recognized certifications in the field. It’s all contributed to helping him succeed in his internship which can get very demanding while working on external marketing campaigns for HE&R.

“The workload that I receive sometimes can be overwhelming, but it has to get done. With the grit and perseverance that I’ve gained, I know I can pursue a real-world job like this internship and be fine with a workload,” Vinnie said.

The best design for Vinnie is a finished one that he’s proud to have assisted with.

“At HE&R, I have had the opportunity to see the entire project by being a part of that process and watching it unfold into a huge success,” Vinnie said.
